I am not saying he is selfless but his reasons are airtight and almost noble. She witnessed a terrorist murdering an army man. She is in grave danger. Even if he sends her off to her family, all that will do is give him more people to protect because her family will be in danger too.
So why not keep it simple. And he did try to tell her the truth but the doctor told him not to. Why would he endanger her mental and physical heath? Also, he is unaware just how long she has been missing. He thinks the riot is when she lost her memory. He must expect her family to go to the police and file a missing person's report and then he will take her back.
We shouldn't be so hasty in judging him. He's a good guy. Selfishness is not a crime. Everybody is selfish and his selfishness is about safeguarding millions of lives in the process.
Sage: I am not blaming u and I did not saw d word manhandling in ur post. I myself saw thurday's epi n felt dat. But for friday's epi which I did not saw, I read wu n ur post. There it was written dat Shaad does not wants her tot get back back her memory. I read Triv's post n understood dat Shaad is not a bad guy but he is protecting Sanam in a way.
But we can never trust Gul. She never changed n redeemed Asad till d end but made him jerk worse than before everytime. Even villians r better than him cuz Asad was termed as d male lead. Everyone in d show said a lot abt true love of Asad n Zoya but it was not a true love as I don't think Asad ever loved Zoya cuz he always did horrible things wid her n never trusted her. Gul butchered d sweetest character Ayaan by involving him in trading Zoya(eventhough Asad was worse in dis mistake) n by making him leave Humeira. Gul always butchered Ahil 4m time to time. She even butchered Rehan once for manhandling Seher who was Sanam for everyone. She even butchered Rahat for donating Haya to Faiz not thinking abt Haya. Gul made another sweetest character Faiz into a disgusting psycho. So, even if Shaad is nice we can never trust Gul. After SaHil again comes close she will butcher Shaad n make him negative.
As for selfishness n selfless, Zoya k vajah se muje selfless word se nafrat ho gayi hai🥱.
