Prologue

Location: Nursing Home

An old lady standing in front of the window wrapped around a blanket was watching the sunset lay over the lake and the seagulls that were flying in the air. A nurse came behind her

Nurse1: "Come on honey, let's get you ready for bed."

Next morning

An old man was combing his hair and checking himself in the mirror, his thought

I am no one special; just a common man with common thoughts, I lived a common life, there are no monuments dedicated to me, and my name will soon be forgot, but in one respect I succeeded as gloriously as anyone who ever lived

He walked passed the nurse station, and the guy high fived the old man

Nurse2: "Looking good dude."

Oldman: "feeling good"

The old man walked across the hallway

I've loved another with all my heart and soul and for me that has always been enough for me

The old man stood in the line with other patients

Oldman: "How is it going Henry"

Henry: "I keep trying to die, but they wont let."

Oldman: "Well you can't have everything."

The oldman got to the front of the line; he took his medicine from the lady pharmacist

Oldman: "big day today."

LadyPharmacist: "You say that everyday, you old devil."

The oldman winked at her

The Nurse from last night who took the old lady to bed came in her room again

Nurse: "It's a lovely day outside today, Lets take a walk."

OldLady: "I don't think so."

Nurse1: "Well we have to get you out of this room."

The old man entered the room

Nurse1: "Come on honey, some fresh air will do you good."

Oldman: "Hello"

Old lady turned around looking at man that came in, the nurse went towards him

Nurse1: "Im sorry it is not a good day today, I don't think she is up for anything."

OldLady: "Hello?"

Nurse went forward and introduced the old man

Nurse: "This is Duke he has come to read to you."

Old Lady: "Read?"

Duke showed the book to her

Nurse1: "Hmm"

Old Lady: "No, I don't know."

Nurse1: "Oh come on, you will like him, he is very funny."

Duke smiled at her, the nurse left, Duke took the old lady to the sitting area, they both sat down on the chairs.

Duke: "Okay where did we leave off."

The old lady was just looking at him

Duke: "Oh yeah I remember, it was the night of the carnival, Asad was there with his friend Ayaan and Humeria"

Old lady: "Asad?"

Duke: "That is where they met, Zoya was 17 years old."

Chapter 1: Flashback of Asad and Zoya and what happened on their first meeting ;)

I wrote a little prologue for this story!! It might seem a little confusing but once the story progresses It will solve all your confusion and if not you can always ask me! Enjoy! Will be looking forward to your comments!
