Chapter 1

Asad was staring at the laptop screen when Zoya hit his head with a piece of cloth. First time he could not register what was happening and he turned around to face her when she again hit him with the cloth piece without looking at him as she was busy with dusting the couch and also silent dancing moves with the earphones in side her ears.

"Uggh!!! Aichchooo..." He sneezed loudly as the dust particles tickled inside his nostrils. Zoya was again going to hit him but stopped as soon as he shot the dagger through his eyes. He stood up abruptly from the couch after securing his laptop on the side table and folded his hand over his chest.

"What are you doing here Miss Farooqui?" He almost shouted for the umpteenth time of the day. Zoya pulled out those devices and looked at him with her mouth formed a perfect "O", her eyes went wide as far as these could, and that piece of cloth fell from her hand as she kept them over her mouth- three things happened within a moment.

"Oh Mr. Khan what are you doing here?" She asked the same question.

"I have asked this first Miss Farooqui." He gritted, already irritated with her over dramatic childish antics.

"Errrmmm...Mr. Khan the maid is not coming today. So I was thinking to clean by myself as you like a clean nope super clean house of yours and I and...and" She kept mumbling.

"Shut your mouth up Miss Farooqui! You are not here to do these things" Asad gritted his teeth again. He did not want to fight but this girl was always up to ruin his mood.

"Yes sir but as your PA, I have to do everything to make yourself comfortable here"

Asad looked at her with disbelief does she even think once before what is she saying? Bettameez Ladki, Incredibly foolish! No I cannot stand her in this house for a second. I just cannot. This girl is going to take all my peace away.

This was Asad Ahmed Khan's everyday resolution to throw Miss Farooqui out from his life but he knew very well he can't do that. Although Zoya Farooqui was the most annoying thing in his life also she was the savior of his life. When he was in danger she helped him every way possible. Not only that, she saved Mr. Rashid Ahmed Khan's family too. How? Well interesting question and we will find this answer eventually.

So, Mr. Khan and Ms. Farooqui were extremely professional in their ways at least Mr. Khan was. He only knew his employee by her name, her qualifications and her messy habits. He never thought to cross the professionalism and to intervene in her personal life. Not like he was interested about it too.

On the other hand Zoya knew a little bit more about him like he came to Bhoopal after 15 years and he hated to be there (but why he was in Bhoopal despite of his hatred she did not know and did not want to know either), he was an OCD person with bad temper; extremely determined, workaholic; kind of quiet type (he only barked with her when he got a topic for) and she hated him nor that Mr. Khan was dying to like her too.

Asad was making his way inside his room only to be stopped by the shrill ringing of the house land phone.

"Hello" he almost barked.

"Sir I am Prasad."

"Yes Prasad"

"Sir, actually Anurag had left the country already."

"WHAT?" His enraged voice made Zoya jumped up from the land for a moment.

He is too much Akdu and insensitive. Why should the maid need to miss today only? I don't want to work a moment with this man but I need this money now. You can do it Zoya. This was Zoya Farooqui's resolution for last one month.

"Can I ask you something?" Asad's somber voice brought her back to the reality.

"Don't tell this to Ayaan's mother. She will be worried." She heard him to say. Who is Ayaan? Zoya thought to herself.

"But sir, 1 crore is a big amount. What will I explain it to Shireen Mam?" Prasad asked Asad and he pinched the bridge of his nose.

"I shall take care of that Prasad. Besides she is not in the mood of taking care of this." He said under his breath. He looked around the room. Ms. Farooqui was not in the room anymore.

"Errm.. Prasad, can you please bring someone else here?"

"Who, sir?" Prasad was confused at the sudden topic change.

"Ms. Farooqui. I can't stand her a moment here. She is so messy and silly and what not." Asad gritted under his breath, he had done with her.

"Sir, we owe to her. You know Rashid Sir wanted to help her and she is a real genius. Although she has no experience but she is the one who first caught Anurag, otherwise we would lose more money besides she is needy too." Prasad pleaded.

"Fine, and one more thing. I don't care about money but I want Anurag to be arrested anyhow. Inform the police about your findings please."

"Yes sir. And sir please call me if you need anything"

"Yeah. Thanks Prasad" Asad ended the call and just then the loud clinking sound came from the kitchen as one of the steel pot hit to the floor.

"Ms. Farooqui!" Asad adjusted his collar and marched up to his room without checking the kitchen.

Zoya smacked her head as soon as the pan fell from her hand. This is the first time she entered in this kitchen well literally in this house. She was appointed as a PA of Asad Ahmed Khan almost a month ago. She was doing okay (well she thought she was doing okay) with her first job which was only for few days but she agreed because she needed money and this job giving her that amount of money with which she could fulfill her dream. She was a fourth year student in Software Engineering and needed this job only to continue her studies. After completing her B.Sc. she could only does a job of her choice. She was in his office in these days but not much acquainted with him, Prasad conveyed him what to do and how to do. She did not like her boss at all because of his callousness and behavior towards her.

She thought to make lunch for them, she could not concentrate when she was hungry and she was feeling hungry by the way though she had breakfast only two hours ago. Well two hours a long time. She thought to make cupcakes for her. Before that she would make coffee for him. In these days she only found out one thing which he likes. The famous black bitter coffee, she wondered how he could drink that...ewww. She made the coffee and entered his room without knocking.

Asad was over the phone again.

"Uncle, please transfer 1 crore rupees from DC's account to AK's." Zoya heard him to talk. She kept the mug on the table and dashed out from silently.

Asad returned to the laptop and found the coffee mug. Involuntary a smile crept on his smile but he was sobered in a fraction of second. He took the cup and tasted it. It was just the way he liked. She could only do this thing perfectly. But this is not Ms. Farooqui's work to do. So he made his way to the kitchen to remind her about her work. He was going to enter the kitchen but stopped at the entrance. Is it the kitchen? Or I am at someone's place. Asad looked around the kitchen again. Yes this was his house only but it converted in Ms. Farooqui's way. All the vegetables, flours were strewn over the dining table; after all she was a messy person. He avoided meeting her in that situation because he knew if he met him that time he would start again. So he left from there.

Asad was relaxing as he was reading one of the books when Zoya called him for lunch. Asad came out and watched the clean room with a relief. She had arranged it just the way it was before. Well she was not that messy! He took the first morsel as Zoya started to gobble up the foods. He was left stunned to watch her like this. He cringed inwardly as he saw her to take food in most indecent manner.

"Ms. Farooqui. Please eat like a human being" He ordered. Her spoon dropped with a clunk on the plate and he mouth formed an "O"

"I am a human being okay. No need to teach me about my habit. I am your employee not your wife..." Zoya stopped herself realizing what she was saying.

"I am not a baby, huh!" She completed after sometime. She again took a mouthful of rice.

"Ms. Farooqui ! Behave please" Asad stern voice warned again.

"Allah Miyaan what's wrong with you, Mr. Khan?" Her eyes narrowed and she started with her food filled mouth again.

"I...I aw only an employee and I shaw obey you only on wokw...no neew to teachw me how to eat" She retorted back. What is on the world you were thinking Zoya? You will be fired for your big mouth one day for sure. You did the blunder today. How are you going to repent now? Zoya thought. Asad was ready to pour down his rage but again he ringing of his cell made him to stop. "You are just unbearable Ms. Farroqui. I wish I could fire you." He just left the table as he was done to attend the call.

Oh! Don't smile after reading aha! Opposite attracts. Here not the case at all. They both hated each-other personally but they were irreplaceable professionally. Why? Well I think we can get this answer here. But Zoya did not know anything of his past.

Asad Ahmed Khan, landed to Bhoopal from London after about 20 years in his age of 25 just because of his father's last wish to take care of his family. Well Asad knew that he had a second family but he never felt to interact with them. Dilshad Ahmed Khan was the sweetest wife and wonderful mother who passed away when Asad was only 5, by heart failure. Since then he was living with his uncle Aftab Sheikh (who was the only brother of Dilshad Ahmed Khan, Asad's mother). Rashid was devastated after Dilshad's demise and he could not take care of Asad at that very moment so he decided to send Asad to his uncle's. Eventually, he got busy in his works and after a lot of persuasion of his working partner Gaffur Ahmed Siddique he agreed to marry his sister Shireen Siddique after long five years. Shireen Siddique was a widow with a 3 year old child Ayaan. Shireen was very naive and she got a new reason to live. She started to love Rashid knowing he was not interested in her but Rashid eventually had fallen for her simplicity and started his new life with her and their new child Ayaan.

Asad completed B. Arch and M.S and also working as an intern in a famous architectural farm in London. He intended to complete an MBA and wanted to introduce his new farm with the help from his uncle. Dilshad's family was rich and she got half of her father's property whose owner was Asad now and his uncle was helping him with his dream. But Asad had to leave his internship for his father.

Asad did not want to leave his father but he was forced to. This instigated a new feeling in him in his childhood that was hatred. He learned to hate his father and when he heard about Rashid marriage his feelings took a new height. He hated Rashid for forgetting him and his mother so easily. His uncle tried to remove his hatred but Asad refused to do such. He had grown up with a bruised heart and also all alone in his life. But his hatred could not overpower his love which was hidden inside his heart. When he heard his father was in hospital and counting his last breath he came only to meet his father.

Zoya was retrieving the software, which was somehow deleted by Asad. It was almost her time to leave and after their lunch encounter Asad did not talk to her a word. He was enraged but was in total silent mode and with this he deleted the software, by mistake. So, without any delay he asked Zoya to fix it and went out of the room to make coffee for themselves. Zoya thought to ask forgiveness after all she did the entire blunder after her work was done.

"Ms. Farooqui...!!" Asad's enraged voice again hit her ear and she almost jumped up from the sofa. Asad stood there holding the broken black coffee mug in his hand.

Zoya Farooqui had broken off Asad Ahmed Khan's most favorite mug which was gifted by his precious mother. Dilshad's last gift for him!
