@serendipity -of course,acting skills,chemistry,looks..everything is subjective.
Asad's reaction on seeing zoya for the first time wasn't typical and only about physical attraction...or perhaps it was a more "pure" version of that.He seemed to be in awe of her but not in love. That is what I think anyway
When has SJ been rehearsed to you as sanam...a part of me agrees may be but the thing is she has to constantly keep in mind that she should not seem like zoya..and she does keep that in mind.So as sanam may be not exactly natural but she is good nonetheless imo.
I don't have an issue with their different poses...just that to me it seems more for the camera even when they are looking into each other's eyes or doing something else.

Let's agree to disagree on Asad cause I am convinced he fell in love with her at first sight. :) Physical attraction is physical attraction. There's no weak or pure version of it...

The instances where I found SJ rehearsed are in the early SaHil romantic scenes and in some emotional scenes.

I agree she wants to maintain a distinction between Zoya and Sanam but since their characters are so different that should not be a hindrance...though she is doing great now as compared to earlier days when she was getting into the skin of Sanam.

Well isn't it for the camera? They want to promote their couple and show and I personally don't find anything wrong with that...

What's so 😲 about it? Isn't that what all the F32 interviews and photoshoots are about? Promoting their show and onscreen couple?

Confused...

What's wrong with it anyway?

Ha! Finally, I've managed to watch it all and can comment on the magic that is Saahil..
Gul Khan and 4 lions - you hate them or you love them, but gotta agree that they beautify love like none other..
I've been a follower since Geet and have felt the transition.. Likr someone mentioned, Geet had a lot of sexual tension, and perhaps less emotional connect than the others.. for me personally, it had the weakest plot amongst all.. Nonetheless DD and Gurmeet's crackling chemistry kinda overshadowed the rest..
Then came along IPK and I was swept off my feet.. I thought she had hit a jackpot, with ASR and KKG, and wasn't disappointed.. Although it started off as a love-hate story, the obvious signs of attraction were always there.. who can ever forget the first rabba ve! But, these two bonded on an emotional level, way before they accepted that they were in love.. Remember Nainital and Rakhi day..
And then with the almost kiss and farq padta hai tracks, we fell head over heels in love, but so did they.. .. it was the story of how she turned him into a believer from a staunch non believer, embraced his vulnerabilities and made him a man he was proud of, khushi's Arnavji.. ❤️ to those who say, IPK was about ArHi's sexual tension, I beg to differ..
Have u watched Arnav's silent realisation of love, the star scene, heer ranjha, or the rose garden scene towards the end, you'll know what I mean.. in my opinion, this tale was a perfect blend of opposites attract, and the cliched dil ka rishta..

AsYa.. it wasn't love at first sight for Asad, I feel but perhaps he was just mesmerized by her beauty.. and who wouldn't be, for she looked absolutely divine and right out of a fairytale... the friction was always there, coz they both came from different backgrounds, were strong individuals with their own set of beliefs and insecurities, loved to challenge each other; And yet soo incomplete without the other..
he was only her protector at first, Mangalpuriya Asad.. and Jo bheji thu dua at the wrong grave.. ❤️.. Falling in love and the acceptance was a gradual procees and oh so sweet and spicy.. 😆
There were some bits that left a bad taste in my mouth, esp. Dilshad's sudden acceptance of rashid, Jaanu and the lame attempt at zoyaan, but by the end of it, Gul had created yet another surreal romance, which had everything the previous two had, and yet was different and adorable in its own way..
of course, their end was tragic, but unavoidable i'd say.. but yes, I agree with the one who said she didn't utilize AsYa to her potential.. Sigh!

But.. Now, when I am still grieving and venting out over the unfair end and stepmotherly treatment of Arjun, she has drawn me back to QH 2..
although, initially it was the revenge plot itself that lured me, but Saahil make me realise that I am after all a hopeless romantic at heart.. 🤪 Saahil.. ❤️
Sanam, I feel is the most toned down version of all previous 4 lions leads. She's fiesty and strong headed in her own way, perhaps like her mother and has her father's maturity and tehzeeb..
considering it was SJ playing her, she had to be a superhit.. she has finally manged to seggregate Zoya, Sanam and Seher which is no mean feat! but KVB aka Aahil Miya was the suprise packet for me.. when a cassanova, a child haunted by his past, a man who pretends to be cold and ruthless, a prince with name and fame, falls for a mere caretaker, a girl who is practically no one, I knew I was doomed..

Their story is soo similar to the others, but the subtlety and Gul's attempts to undo all mistakes made in the past, coupled with Saahil's passionate eyelocks, feigned denial of love, and emotional connect makes Saahil, one of the best romances ever seen on TV..

I know as a viewer, who has been let down several times in the past by this very PH, I shouldn't be keeping my hopes high but Saahil have turned me into a fangirl all over again and there's nothing I can do to stop it..

So, to answer the TM's post, my opinions haven't changed and neither have the PH..It's just that they're evolving and undoing their shortcomings from the past with cautious finesse and calculated baby steps.
QH 2 is about tying loose ends, not just from season 1, but all of their previous unfinished tracks which unfortunately were hasty, forgotten or had to be shelved due to reasons beyond their control..
Or that's just how I feel.. 😊

Love,
Avantika..

There is nothing wrong with physical attraction. It is in fact very integral to a romantic relationship. But it should not be the basis of love, that's all I wanted to say. That's why when they show leads falling in love over falls trips and catches and long staring sessions it seems unconvincing...

Also about Asad, I still maintain that he fell in love with Zoya at first sight. The Visa track in QH1 only confirmed that, by his answer to Dhurandar Bhatwadekar about when he first met Zoya. A guy like him who does not even look at women having such an emotional connect with a stranger like Zoya at first sight only reaffirms that belief...anyway my opinion. Even the visa guy was convinced that he fell for Zoya at first sight and thus let them off the hook.

As for chemistry, it's very subjective. Lots of people think KaBhi had excellent chemistry and then there's some who think they didn't. I personally think they had brilliant chemistry and I also found that SJ had good chemistry with Vikrant whereas others didn't...That doesn't go to say that SurVir lack chemistry. I personally think they have amazing chemistry. The sponge bath scene may be favourite of most people but I personally liked that Manmarziyaan force feeding scene a better indicator of their chemistry. It had no physical element to it, but their chemistry shined through...

Au contraire to your opinion, I find KVB very natural as Aahil, I feel he was tailor made for this role whereas I find Surbhi more rehearsed. Though I find that she is doing a much better job portraying Sanam than Zoya. I don't know if I was the character that required her to screech, for example in initial days of QH1 and AsYa cheesy romantic track after JaaNu humbistar. I think she suits the character of Sanam more than Zoya...

As for the F32 photos, they are hardly indicative of their chemistry...those photoshoots only take place to create hype and interest for the couple for the fans and they would be trying to pose for the camera no? They wouldn't just stand there acting normally or the pics wouldn't get their intended response cause people like to see them in their characters not their real life selves in those photos...

Sonia, Yes to all you said and a double yes to @bold.🤗
Me too liked VM-SJ pairing, more than asya, and was disappointed the way they went about with Zoyaan. Only if they had put a lil logic into it, it would've worked. These two had a different kind of chemistry, right from their first scene.
Sorry @TM, went off the topic, But I have been wanting to say this for a long time and when I found a kindred spirit, echoing my thoughts, could'nt resist commenting.

But my all time fav is Saahil. No two ways about it.

KVB breathed life into Ahil. If I remember no one liked Ahil when he was introduced. No one wanted someone like Ahil for asya's daughter. But KVB made everyone fall in love with AHil, kudos to CVs too for that.
Sanam, too as a character is underdog kinda character. No one will like her at first glance. But these two together kind of grow on us.
Asya were like you will fall in love with them instantly, Just like now everyone is rooting for Sehaan. 😆 But Saahil are the real stuff. They burn, they talk, they fight, they accuse, they misunderstand, they care, and then they love.

Never saw any of gul previous shows. This is first time I am watching. And I like couple Sahil...Survir does have some brilliant chemistry! No offense to anybody according to me Sahil love story has something which attracts the viewers. Obviously Asya was good too but I guess the story line lacked something that time, maybe too much billiness
