I don't have a problem with physical attraction but there should be more than it in a love story,no?...like I just got reminded of ArHi's star conversation and I wish we would have got more like those...and I also wish SP wasn't so nun-like.Gul wasted so much time with comedy,specially when she knew an actor wanted to leave after 1 year..and then somebody else wanted to be the focus so yeah we never got those scenes..not that I didn't love the comedy,khushi was so cute(I don't like sanam's way of thinking so much and moving her pupils so much before saying anything😆)
Also I don't think asad fell in love with zoya at the dargah...actually asya had more emotional scenes than romantic scenes but their relationship was less intense than sahil's.They are both different kind of couples and even if asya's story wasn't as good as sahil's I will still choose the former because well the mangalpur sequence and bol na halke halke...how absolutely adorable was that!Also I liked KaBhi more.
So many of sahil's scenes that everybody has liked have bored me to death(the sponge bath one,the looking at the photos one) but today's nightmare scene was so good that even a non fan like me was impressed.😆

No Asad didn't fall in love with Zoya at the Dargah but even Arbav didn't fall for Khushi at the fashion show. Infact I think ASYA and Arhi meeting scenes are similar. Arnav was mesmerized seeing a decked up Khushi where Asad was mesmerized when he spotted Zoya in that red dress in the side of the road. Just because Khushi fell on Arnav's lap we can't call it any different. Khushi met Arnav in a fashion show when she fell off the ramp. So trip and fall was inevitable there.
Asad bumped Zoya off the road by his car and then was mesmerized seeing her in that red dress untill she opened her firey mouth.None of these characters fell in love at the first sight but they did get physically attracted for the moment unlike Saahil.
I don't know about you but for me Sahil has THE BEST chemistry then any other couples I watched on TV and I felt that even though I had no Knowledge about the actor playing Aahil aka KV. I knew Surbhi from QH 1 and I was not too impressed with her Portrayal of Zoya.I think she grew as an actress and to top it of she is perfect as Sanam. Sanams character blends well with her personality and This guy KV is very natural as Aahil. I never saw him before QH 2 but I am iimpressed with his portrayal of Aahil. To top it off Aahil is a very unique character and his character has many shades and so far the creatives are handling his character quite well. I generally find sponge bath type scenes cheesy but with Saahil I didn't feel that way at all. These two are soo comfortable with each other and their characters are built in such a way that I only concentrated on their expressions , nothing else and they were just bang on.
That spoon feeding scene was supposed to be cheesy as well but in this case that particular scene did put a smile on my face. It was soo sweet and right from the writing to the acting to the BG music , everything was just too good. Not cheesy at all. I can watch those scenes again and again without feeling bored at all. Btw
As far as the actors are concerned so far Survir ( that's the fan made name right?) is my fav. Atleast as Saahil they are just THE BEST.,

Totally agreed Gita! Totally agreed! QH2 scores way better than QH1. Gul has done everything right with Sahil and QH2! Sahil are super lovely and so real!

I find kvb to be very unnatural,he also overacts a bit.SJ is very good,of course.I liked her as zoya too but their chemistry..no I think they lack it.I look at the forum 32 photos and feel they are so pheeka/bland,just posing for the cameras.

well that's your opinion and you have the liberty to choose who you like or don't like.
That's different matter altogether. I think your topic was not regarding KV or his acting . On the contrary I was never attracted to QH 1 since I felt everybody is overdoing it including Surbhi as Zoya. My fav in QH 1 was Razia and I loved to watch her scenes. Others never appealed to me ever. QH 2 for me is the real QH for me but no matter what None of us can ignore that Sanam is Asad and Zoyas daughter only and that reminds us about QH 1.
I find Surbhi perfect as Sanam and even Seher. But Sanam is my fav. I was never in love with her playing Zoya as much as I like her as Sanam. As far as KV is concerned I didn't know him or his jane before QH2 and after seeing him as ARI I am impressed. He is flawless as Aahil.
But anyway coming to the real topic I guess it was regarding GK shows and physical attraction . Let's stick to that and respect each other opinion. 😃 as I feel QH2,wouldn't have survived without the awesome chemistry of its leads. IMO they are magical and their scenes always make me happy.

There is nothing wrong with physical attraction. It is in fact very integral to a romantic relationship. But it should not be the basis of love, that's all I wanted to say. That's why when they show leads falling in love over falls trips and catches and long staring sessions it seems unconvincing...

Also about Asad, I still maintain that he fell in love with Zoya at first sight. The Visa track in QH1 only confirmed that, by his answer to Dhurandar Bhatwadekar about when he first met Zoya. A guy like him who does not even look at women having such an emotional connect with a stranger like Zoya at first sight only reaffirms that belief...anyway my opinion. Even the visa guy was convinced that he fell for Zoya at first sight and thus let them off the hook.

As for chemistry, it's very subjective. Lots of people think KaBhi had excellent chemistry and then there's some who think they didn't. I personally think they had brilliant chemistry and I also found that SJ had good chemistry with Vikrant whereas others didn't...That doesn't go to say that SurVir lack chemistry. I personally think they have amazing chemistry. The sponge bath scene may be favourite of most people but I personally liked that Manmarziyaan force feeding scene a better indicator of their chemistry. It had no physical element to it, but their chemistry shined through...

Au contraire to your opinion, I find KVB very natural as Aahil, I feel he was tailor made for this role whereas I find Surbhi more rehearsed. Though I find that she is doing a much better job portraying Sanam than Zoya. I don't know if it was the character that required her to screech, for example in initial days of QH1 and AsYa cheesy romantic track after JaaNu humbistar. I think she suits the character of Sanam more than Zoya...

As for the F32 photos, they are hardly indicative of their chemistry...those photoshoots only take place to create hype and interest for the couple for the fans and they would be trying to pose for the camera no? They wouldn't just stand there acting normally or the pics wouldn't get their intended response cause people like to see them in their characters not their real life selves in those photos...

lol bringing kvb's acting is not a problem when you praise him,it however is a problem when I don't.Had I praised him too,you wouldn't have been all 'this topic was not about his acting'😆..in a thread,people jump from one topic to another,that happens in real life convos too,right?😆What is so wrong with that?
Zoya as a character was such that even the most subtle of actors can get a bit too much with it once in a while..surbhi was by no means flawless as zoya farooqi but she improved tremendously in so short a time.Who has acted so well in their first show itself?I don't think her acting has been praiseworthy only as sanam.Alka ji is of course brilliant..I liked ksg,vm,ketki kadam too.Now again don't be all 'stick to the topic'...because then I will reply with a childish 'but you started it!'😆
Also I don't think sahil are only about the leads' chemistry(actually like I mentioned I don't even feel much chemistry between them),the creatives have put efforts in their scenes and characters and they should be given credit for the ratings too.Now this is me sticking to the topic..giving credit to the writers for being so different and consistent with sahil.
