I have a different opinion altogether
Never watched Geet but after watching IPK decided to give it a try for the female lead of Geet. Never liked it after watching few initial episodes.
I started with IPK( my first desi soap) and fell in love with the leads. Yes it is about the physical tension between the leads but I feel that's how it's supposed to be. It started with physical attraction but with time it changed to something more stronger and beautiful . For me ArHi was the ultimate lead of TV as no other show ever attracted me before like this.
Then came QH 1.again similar kind of relationship between the lead although I was not as hooked as I was with Arhi.
QH2 again another beautiful pairing and IMO so far Guls best creation. These two are magical. I am hooked like never before.
I feel GK creates best pairs onscreen.

Geet was amazing and it will always have a place in my heart! I stumbled upon QH1 only when watching Punar Vivah for Gurmeet Choudhary so I thank Geet for my interest in QH!

Nevertheless asya have had some amazing scenes too...mangalpur ❤️

@bold: Completely agree. Especially post-ZoYaan after AsYa were reunited. As it is, ZoYaan was a whopper of a mistake but she never had AsYa really dwell on this big thing that happened with them. Like if the makers just forgot about it, the audience would too. But yes, there were some gorgeous AsYa scenes. Mangalpur, the first Teri Meri, Bol Na Halke... . Even Ishq Hua. I still think AsYa when I listen to that song 😆.

Actually, AsYa fandom had it the worst. Not only did we have to tolerate multiple failed nikaahs in the most awful way, but the couple were killed off brutally. What an ending!

Gul's handling SaHil beautifully now. It's not just the scorching chemistry but the whole growth of the relationship is done so well, you believe these two people are liking each other more and more as they stay together longer. I hope she continues to do so. She can separate them but she should never sully the relationship or butcher their characters for some twist.

All I can say is QH2 scores way over QH1 in all the depts.
Even though QH1 had a stellar cast, better budget, more promotion...
And with Saahil, Gul is giving her best. All their scenes have been
MA MashaAllah to quote Zoya.
Right from dhaba burning to Sanam vowing to unlock Ahil's past - what a journey it has been for them and us.

I cannot agree more...
i havent watched IPK so cant say about it.. But AsYa were a really adorable n understanding couple ... their bond was properly established... they had such heart to heart interactions...
SaHil is no doubt great beyond words ... but i wished they had given them more time n space... They r just so so so amazing... Just 3 months into their story n thy r killing it... getting us addicted to them...

The pervert part has not gone anywherea ... FAIZ BHAI is there to show that😕 although thankfully its not given such importance ,,
i really love the SaHil bond n even though they r married there has not been a single mention of sexual tension or their physical relationship... i really liking the fact that they r establsihing the emotional bonding first

That's true, Gita, stellar cast, better budget, more promotion is meaningless esp when fans request is ignored and storyline and characters are mercilessly slaughtered...GETTING close to Zoyaan anniversary that's why so 😡

Totally. Geet and IPK had shallow love stories. It was all about the sexual tension between the couples in those shows. They had a lot of trip and fall catch scenes and staring sessions to show leads falling in love. Which I am not really a fan of because they seem kinda shallow. The couples in those shows hardly ever had a heart to heart talk or proper conversations. Especially Geet really faltered in that department.

Coming to QH, it also made me change my perception about this PH. Asad and Zoya had some really awesome scenes like Mangalpur, BNHH and before them I did not think this PH is capable of such awesomeness.

With SaHil they have made them an intense and junooni couple with loads of sexual tension BUT they have also encorporated the AsYa style conversations and talks between the couple. Their after marriage scenes are so epic, and they have had a range of scenes from hot and intense to lighthearted and cute hubby wifey scenes. ⭐️

Aahil is first 4 Lions lead who fell for Sanam's character before he noticed her looks. Previous ones like MSK, ASR and AAK all noticed the female lead's beauty first then fell in love. It was love at first sight for AAK at the dargah.

People who say their love story is shallow haven't watched the episodes properly and Aahil's journey towards love. They have constantly reiterated Aahil falling for her bravado, simplicity and strength in character. He only noticed her looks for the first time when she wore that pink dupatta, AFTER he fell in love with her...

Everything you said! Word! Even IPK was my first Indian TV show. I am not Indian either. But I just fell in love with Arnav and Khushi. Since watching IPK I have watched several other Indian TV shows and my Hindi is so much better than it used to be. My mum loved BW movies, coz she went to university in India. That is how I watched them. I hardly watch them now. But my introduction to Hindi started that way.

I watched QH only coz it was Gul's show. Didn't know the actors. Heard of KSG, but that was it. Loved the show, and found the pairing of SJ and KSG really good. I also thought Asad and Zoya were a different love story to Arnav and Khushi. In their case, the physical attraction was very palpable from the start. But they also had a emotional connect. That is what got them together in the end. Arnav was a very buttoned up guy, and Khushi sort of opened him up. Made him live a little. It was truly an amazing journey of love.

Coming to QH 2, I just watched it coz I was a loyal fan of the show. I honestly didn't have many expectations, after some of the botching up of QH 1 which had happened. But this time... Wow Gul got it SO right. This story between Aahil and Sanam has it all. It has a bit of IPK charm. It has QH 1 feel to it as well. It has everything. The balance of physical attraction / emotional connect with SAHIL has been done just right. We can feel a bond between them and we can feel the attraction between them as well. I love how it's being portrayed. They have not been butchered after the marriage. Actually they have both matured a lot after getting married.

So far, I would venture to say, SAHIL are Gul's biggest triumph. Talk about a come back? Come back Iss se kehetain hain boss! Lol

Exactly. Saahil is Guls best creation till date. What's wrong in having physical attraction? I mean that's completely normal and healthy. Men and women are supposed to be physically attracted to each other isn't it?
Btw it doesn't matter how they fell for each other the first time , it matters what happens after that. I for one don't believe in spiritual connection between lovers over any kind of physical attraction. No matter what physical attraction is inevitable in a man and woman relationship. Yes for Arhi it started with that but later it became much more than that and that's completely normal.
Who says ASYA wasn't physically attracted initially? As far as I remember Asad was mesmerized seeing Zoya when he bumped her off the road. He was physically attracted at first as well. He started disliking her when he heard her talking back to him which he felt is not appropriate for a tehzib e afta woman.
He was a complete MCP from the begining and judged people over their appearances ratter than their nature. He was totally against Zoya living with them just because she wore western clothes and talked back . But that didn't stop him from being attracted to her. That's physical attraction and completely ok.
Saahil had a different staring altogether but after his initial idea about Sanam changed he started noticing her physical beauty as well. Again thats normal and completely ok.
Overall trip and fall , physical attraction are completely normal in any love stories.

Sorry for the long rant but just my opinion
