I am also a big fan of QH but please yaar let's give credit where it is due, the reason Muslim backdrop serials started in Hindi TV one after the other was becos of the hit Pakistani show humsafar! I remember that this was point of discussion when QH started also. Yes QH is first in Hindi TV but the credit for Muslim backdrop goes to fawad khan humsafar!

I checked the promo, It looks very similar to IPKKND, I may be wrong, but the guy had same ARI get up and gal from village, Fashion house.It gave me IPKKND feeling.

QH started it all. I will always be grateful to QH for at least giving me a glimpse of everyday Muslim culture and people. Living in an western country, views I see daily are very skewed. It's good to see regular people living their lives for a change and not always some high drama and political intrigue we see in the news everyday!

Thanks Gul! Because of her I know when Eid is now. Even the few Muslims I used to work with and were close to didn't make as much of an impression regarding Islamic culture and festivals etc as much as this show has done for me!
