Glad to see a good healthy discussion at last in this space. I do not remember one continuing for so long without bashing each other. There have been times that I have been so disappointed with the uncalled for aggressiveness on this forum that I have decided to hide ...but for some reason or the other I have returned. So it goes without saying that there is a magnetic draw that pulls one here ...even a nay sayer like me.

That for me is enough indication of the interest we all have in QH ...for some it was and is the story, for others it is the star cast ..esp Karan,Surbhi and the entire ensemble .some like Karan and not Surbhi...others vice versa . Many like both and it is Kabhi that held them here. I am an unabashed admirer of Karan's talent and followed him here from his DMG days..will follow him wherever he goes.Yet I will never resort to bashing anyone else as I am sure all try their best under the prevailing circumstances.

For many of us we come here regularly as it a habit to look for each other and share views on the latest developments!

I am happy we came so far today . Thank you Farz( may I call you that ?) for the vote of confidence. Maybe old age makes me benign ...or maybe I have other platforms to release my angst. In this social space I would continue to remain affable . Welcome debate .. reminiscent of the great activity of our school and college days.

From bold, it seem like you are not other adolscent fans of the actor, I liked Karan as an actor first time in QH and dont think anyone could have made AAK that he did, but Ithen am not biased or blind admirer too. If I can praise him, I have guts to see his faults too and cannot forget how he tried to kill what he created himself.

I don't love the the accidental Nikah per se. Au contraire, I find it to be very demeaning. Even the track, I do not at all condone! Just that through this track, they were able to showcase some brilliant acting from every character. Be it Asad-Zoya-Ayaan, Dilshad or Humeira. Of course there's always Razia. Even Haseena didn't leave any stone unturned in pulling what is to be the mockery of all tracks, accepting Nikhat only if the brother's wife stand by him. What on earth? Your son just got married to said brother's half sister, whose real brother was engaged to be married in a matter of hours to afore-mentioned wife. Complicated.

Okay, you know what. I stand corrected. Realisation hit me like a hurricane as I'm typing this. I still have immense love for the track, however, I simply cannot deny (while it may be horrible) it indeed is the worst track. I'm so twisted.

Point noted ! For a moment I thought you were one of the moderators putting me in my place ...which is off the forum. thankfully that is not so.

Speaking of repeating myself well it goes with the territory ..I can't see the 'story' moving anywhere pathbreaking either.

Karan breathed life into the character of Asad ...most of us agree to that at least.Whether he destroyed what he himself created can be the subject of another debate! I will of course vote against the motion.

Funny how the cards get dealt out ..one friend asking me not to go and another advising me to move on immediately after.

Well the forum belongs to all of us ..those who have moved on with change and those who still pine for the glorious chapters of QH !

I'd like to give Vineeta dearest benefit of the doubt. Maybe she meant for you to move on from your stance, and not the forum. Even then it's most definitely not anyone's place to make you do, or think, for that matter, what you dont need to. That you call me a friend, am still in awe, but as a friend, it is my farz *ahem* to stand up for you, however different we are in our stance.

I'd like to reiterate, stay. We can have healthy, non-bashing and a lil mature discussion on various topics. Can be of anything, however trivial.

A bit difficult at this age loyalties alter with great difficulty and when one has seen the best it makes it even more difficult.

My vote for Karan as an excellent exponent of his art. not the adulation of the young besotted but the opinion of a veteran teacher who has pursued excellence always.
