Would never do what Dilshad has done ! Know that to forgive is divine but that is so easy to say. What a selfish man ..it took him 17 yrs and the scare of a heart attack to want his abandoned wife back ...and what exactly has he done to atone for his sins ? Nothing !!! He has not as yet explained why he abandoned them ...and yet Dilshad walks out of her lovely house to a hostile den ! She has no sympathy from me ! If she was lonely after the kids are settled she could have found another companion and married him ..someone who would respect her as she deserves .

ASAD

I would not want him to give in ..he is a sher ...he must stand by his beliefs. I like Shiela's :
"IF Janab Rashid Ahmed Khan can give me back my CHILDHOOD, Than i will forgive him and be the perfect son to both of you"..perfect stand !

Zoya should curb her enthusiasm and righteousness ...she did not live Asad's childhood and will not understand his angst. She is looking at things through her experiences only and has sympathy for all except Asad ...she is doing everything to convince him to go against his will ..I would not have done this if I was in her place . would have had a conversation with him and tried to understand his feelings too ..and then reasoned with him ...never attacked him 'aap patthar dil hain" He is hurting and she is adding to his hurt .

I've given my POV over what Dilshad did and what I would do in her place in most of the posts, so not adding that again 😆 BUT as for Zoya I feel like it is on purpose that she was made to say whatever she did

A) Either she is first going to misunderstand that Rashid was the one who harmed her mother, because everyone was last left with a revelation of him involved with the Gudiya factory burning

OR

B) She will directly face the truth of her father being partly responsible for her mothers death.

In either ways she will have to bite back on the words she said, which is precisely was her character made to see what she did. She indeed will only support Asad emotionally, but understanding his POV won't come to her unless she goes through what he is.

But I agree with what you said about Dilshad I wouldn't go back to a man like that ever too. Although yes, if someone is ill and requires me to perform a duty by being by his/her side at a point in time, I would go tend for a short while, but not before explaining my situation to the family I've lived with for years and the one that loves me more than themselves.

She is not looking after him. He is ailing and thinks he may not survive and needs her around him. It is not logical as such but mentally, psychologically it makes a difference to people. And this is not about Rashid I can never side his explanations or thoughts but a general opinion on a situation like this.

I don't think its so much about logic you know. As humans a lot of us make a lot of decisions, right or wrong, many we think about and many others are impulsive. This show is high on intense emotions and has a lot of sensitive issues involved, and in such situations people end up taking decisions as such. Asad has, Zoya has as well and so has Ayaan and now so is Dilshad.

Although I do know I would never do what Dilshad did for many reasons, I just have another take on the situation when I see it because of the way she explains it.

And that again amounts to Rashid's selfish nature and what he wants. This man has not changed one bit even on his death bed. He is still willing to subject Dilshad to verbal abuse and insults cause he wants her there.🤢🤢

thanks ankita,

yes the point i was making was sheila that Dilshaad is anywaysy saying he needs her and wants her to be with him .. his complete family.. Dilshaad is saying to asad that she is staying with him cause he is sick and needs her.. and wants his family.. we all know dilshaad also "needs" him cause of her shpeel that day.. however, psychologically as ankita said.. it make a difference to the ailing person if htey have people around him..Dilshaad SHOULD have divorced him the day she found out he cheated on her and had a second family. Her fault for not doing that.. thats why im saying she should have divorced him.. and 17 years later when he said he wants her back.. she shouldnt be going as a WIFE.. she should be going out of humanity and the mother to their children.. for the sake of an ailing person to be there during their hard time.. not out of anything else. she doesnt need to go at all.. but if she is going to go.. she needs to go for the more respectable reason.

Just a point to add - As Rashid I wouldn't have the shame and the courage to look in Dilshad's eyes in the first place, asking her to come over to stay with me doesn't even come close to what I would ever be able to grab guts for.

Thanks Ankita! I honestly have NO IDEA how Rashid has the guts to face her.. let alone ASK HER to stay with him.

Thank you dear i understand all that but if he did not ask her she would never have gone. Again he prompted her even after she said it was not possible , he kept calling her cause he knew she was weak for him. He did it for his own reasons.

Dilshad had turned him down initially. Honestly if this was happening in real life i would be praying he dies, To relieve AAK and his family of this sick man once and for all.

One point of Rashid's reaction makes me believe there is more to what we know about Rashid and Shireen. Why Rashid didn't bother to go an extra mile to stop Ayaan when in reality Rashid's death wish is to have all his family around him. Is Ayaan his biological son or there is more to his lineage? He almost got killed trying to stop Asad...why such a difference in the degree of reaction?

that is a REALLY GOOD POINT.

I have a FAR FETCHED theory.

I wonder if it is possible that Haider is the real Ayan.. and they go for the whole switched children thing?
