Brilliantly put! Just loved how you have managed to capture Asad's each emotion, pain, helplessness and insecurity with this piece of writing.

I don't blame Asad and his desperate attempt to stop his mom at this juncture is only justifiable. And I agree Zoya calling Asad selfish in this is also not fair simply because she has not been around to see what this family has been through. But then she has witnessed enough moments to see how Rashid has been a mute witness to the insults hurled at Asad and Dilshad. So though I can understand why she's supporting Dilshad in this I cannot digest her calling Asad selfish when all that man has done is to live for others. So that's my only contention with Zoya.

But what my qualms with Asad is if he asks Dilshad to choose between Rashid and himself. That will do further harm to the situation and the complexity of relationships but thats again a desperate attempt of a tearing son to save his mother from heartbreak all over again.

Wooow amazing post!! i agree each and every word of yours! if dilshad cant feel asad's pain then who else can understand,tell me? zoya is still immature,she still has to learn a lot ,until unless something big happens to her(abbu track or her mother murder track) she will never understand the pain of asad!! til then she will behave like an immatured girl only(which irritates me a lot😡)

I hope Cv's show Asad opening up for the first time I really want him to share his fear, his sadness to Zoya.

Just a thoughtful wish Cv's doesn't sidetrack Asad's feeling and goes on showing Haseena and Haider leaving Asad's breakdown
