Love this post Amber.
Until the day comes when Rashid explains his actions, Asad is perfectly justified in hating him.
Some things simply cannot be swept under the carpet.

P.s...Your Urdu is to die for...The worlds you used aren't normal talking Urdu, only someone reads Urdu literature knows it...But beautiful use of words...Ma sha Allah...!!!

Beautiful dear and word 100% 👏

And I completely agree with soup's point of view.
she captured zoya's emotions very nicely...
and I tried to capture Asad's .
Both Asad and Zoya are right !!
And Thank you !!

Amber, you made me tear up. How I wish Asad would say this Zoya. Because I'm so sure she will try to convince him to see Dilshad's side.

You pin pointed the very reason I hate Rashid.

Despite not WANTING TO leave his wife, child and unborn child, he didn't ONCE look back and wonder how they were doing in 17 years. Even if her was blackmailed, the ones who suffered, were Asad, Najma and Dilshad. Asad and Dilshad more than anyone.

His mother was his strength, his reason for working so hard to provide for his family, so that they never have to want for anything. And his mother was the reason he was able to survive without a father's love and guidance. But he knows that even though she was able to bear Rashid's mistake once, she won't be able to again.

On the other hand, maybe this is the only way Dilshad will learn that this man only talks, and does nothing of consequence. That when he couldn't stand up for her 17 years ago, or once since, how will he do it now? And that too in that same house that he lived in so happily for all that time, while she suffered to raise her children as best as she could.

I really hope something like this happens in the show. It's a much needed reality check for Dilshad, and Zoya especially.
