"I have no place" touched me the most. Seeing Zoya, facing a major insecurity is so very saddening.

The whole chapter is nicely paced and very, very in depth.

I cried every time I hurt you, that part got to me too. And Asad's 'I know' here is the most heartfelt among the other I knows.

Truly moving. Thank you for sharing with us this beautiful piece of work, eagerly waiting for more. Am only hoping it wouldn't be that very anti-climatic.

Thank you to everyone who asked for an update. I'm glad you enjoyed the last chapter. Sadly, I'm not ready to post the next chapter anytime soon. I'll only get my first draft to my beta readers tonight. This is a very busy chapter so I expect they will ask me to make many revisions and clarifications.

I plan to post the next chapter on Monday morning, New York time.

"Mr. Khan, you're bleeding!" she gasps.

Asad looks up at her, his face so pale and stark, it looks like a death mask. "That's not my blood." His voice is so choked it's barely audible. "It's yours."

"Oh, okay." Zoya nods as if that makes everything better. "I'm glad you're not hurt." She gives him a woozy smile.
