Word...
Infidelity doesn't come into the picture bcoz 1) it was an accidental wedding 😲 2) the major players or at least Asad, Ayaan n Zoya know it's a temporary issue ( 7 days according to Asad n Ayaan n 3 months according to the talaaknama) - soon Humeira too will know 3) it's not a love triangle--- the CVs have clearly established the couples- AsYa n AyRa..

Exactly . A show for general audience . With all the so called nonsense ..no one has yet crossed their limits in this department . They are not portraying infidelity at all. Love how it's clean cut and a simple eye lock is is all it takes to melts hearts. The four involved here shares a pure relationship which will later show the true meaning of .. Love. Respect and Trust . ( Tanveer and her associates portrays the obstacles that we meet in our journey through life.)

This MaBurt marriage is not a marriage - A marriage, by definition : the state of being united to a person of the opposite sex as husband or wife in a consensual and contractual relationship recognized by law

What is this? A contract to save Nikhat's life. In the definition by Merriam Webster, read it carefully to those who disagree - It says for a marriage to be valid, BOTH should CONSENT to the relationship. Neither Zoya nor Ayaan have consented to this relationship. And if you're going to argue that they said 'Qubool Hai' - please. Words don't define relationships and marriage is not at all valid by that. In that case, you're arguing sensitive issues like rape or harrasment could also be justified because the girl consented due to force and manhandling in some situations. Marriage is by consent when the party is FULLY aware of what;s going on. And furthermore, the definition states 'recongized by law' - The marriage went against so many Islamic nikkah procedures - It is INVALID, EMOTIONALLY, AND PRACTICALLY.

Gul is not showing a marriage. She is showing MaBurt to be a contract. And in such a relation, there IS no adultery! Asad and Zoya can meet all they want to - And so can Ayaan & Humaira. Why? There is no validity, neither emotionally nor practically in this nikkah.

Please people, QH is showing perfect morality. There is no question of adultery here. At ALL. Where is the adultery when you can't even call your marriage a marriage?

And as for Imran, Ankita, I agree with your answer as well.

Brilliant post. 👏 We need this strong dose of reality. Infidelity and adultery do NOT apply to this situation - AsYa are free to meet!

I agree. Though I am disappointed with this track in general I do not think Gul is trying to give out wrong messages. YES she has shown a situation which looks regressive at this moment, but later in the story there is every chance that she will be showing the mistakes made corrected. I don't think she intends to show any such thing as adultery here. When she has clearly shown that the nikaah has happened without consent and by a quirk of fate, she hasn't shown this marriage happen out if will and happiness. When the roots of the marriage are a sham, this cannot even be considered a marriage.

Hi -I have always been a silent member of this forum and hardly ever address a topic . maybe twice .Marriage should never be a compromise . Interesting turn of events on the storyline ..Yes . The writers took it to far by questioning religion. The problem here is society .. who all along uses religion to uphold traditions which every one carries out differently ..in order to control . Recently Zoya stood up for women's right and it has continued from there . What we see.. We don't like . Changes has to be made .. Women's voices needs to be heard. Done with the compromises to please others. Women needs to be able to make their own choices in life and still uphold religion religion at the same time .I do hope the writers are heading in this direction only . Destiny ?? .The word that justifies every wrong and makes it right . If it was written a certain way for us. ..We are the only ones who has the power to change it .. Be it for the better or worst .. This is where God and the power of prayer comes in .. To guide us to make every wrong ..right .. It's time to finish loveless marriages !!!. May take a few generations to do so but has to start somewhere. For me I think it started in the right place ..television .. where a mixture of cultures is able to voice their opinions and make it public . So don't quit the show . Keep fighting .. Let your opinions and voices be heard. Help make the change. .

I agree.. Woman should have the right to decide what they want in life. No one can decide anything for them. Zoya here has consented to take this pretense ahead only for the sake of her love's sister's life. But it doesn't mean she will be sacrificing her whole life for this house. She has the rights to go be with her love at any given point if she wants to. This marriage is nothing like I've said a million times a sham and a pretense, and it means nothing.

LOVE your post Ankuu! I agree 100%
There is absolutely no sign of infidelity in this case because this was an ACCIDENTAL marriage , and none of them wanted it .
If Ayaan was in love with Zoya or vice versa , then the case would have been different . Both the people who are supposedly married according to the world are suffering and want to get out of it as soon as possible ! None of them have willingly gotten into this , and the main reason being they KNOW it is temporary . So they have every right to meet/share their sorrows with their respective partners . A piece of paper can change alot of things but not their feelings man 😕

In reality AsYa were a real couple and if Zoya had intentionally gotten married to Ayaan, then it would be a real betrayal or 'infidelity in her relationship with Asad'

A paper doesn't make a relationship...real people and emotions do.

The day Zoya and Ayaan decide to honor that paper, then if they still hug Asad/Humeira, that would be infidelity.

Exactly Di, both the people involved in the marriage firstly do not consider this marriage as a marriage at all and secondly both of them know that the other loves someone unconditionally.
When Ayaan is himself saying that Zoya is yours and I will get her back to you, then there is no question of infidelity at all. There is no room for that word in this story I feel.

Exactly man. I don't understand why situations like these are coated with such heavy terms to start a discussion and have a moral policing done. HONESTLY if I or you or anyone in real was in such a situation, where we 'accidentally' got married, and to save a situation had to pretend to keep it. But when our partners would know it is a pretense and the marriage is nothing but a show for the world, would we actually think that we're on cheating on anyone if we so much as just spoke to the person who is our love. Ayaan and Zoya do not love each other, do not consider each other as anything more than friends, and even if either of them would have been in love with the other and the other wasn't it does not make this marriage real at all.

You were right all along . In a different setting .. place and time .this sham of a marriage would be the comedy part of the show . But this is intense and the feelings needs to be displayed . Having said that .. Why should a woman who is Pure ..Untouched .. and innocent be considered tainted because her groom to be walked out . Please .. These codes of ethics needs to be burnt . You go Zoya .Don't let your sacrifice fail . Prove to all what love can do ,

As for hugging male friends - who is saying that is a problem? However meeting an ex-flame / lover while married who you may still be in love with that sure as hell is wrong.

OMG!!! 😲 so, with this statement are you implying that i have been cheating on my husband, because i have, had giving hugs and kisses (cheeks) to my exes, ( as a greeting of course) and in front of him sometimes, shame on me!!! 😲 (sarcastic)..., but why is it wrong to give an assuring and friendly hug to an ex, being an ex doesn't mean that i have to be far away from you, when he/she sometimes becomes your friend... " SIGH " a never ending debate of beliefs and morals. 😭
