Zoya attended the walk in and got selected along with 2 more persons. They were informed that the final HR interview will be conducted in the DC office, and were asked to proceed there for the last round.

HR office:

Zoya was the last person to be called inside.the other 2 persons were freshers and they were very happy with the package they got, and zoya could see that from their face.

HR:Miss Farroqie... it is our pleasure to have join our company. From ur profile it looks u have already worked in creative designing in USA...and have got a good package too...if it is ok may I know the reason why u r joining here.

Z: my family is here... so I want to settle in Bhopal...

HR: thank you for choosing our company. The monthly salary for this post in Rs80,000 and since you r qualified for our job, we will give u the maximum of 1 lakh per month. Is it ok with u..

Z: No...what u r quoting is much less then what I was earning in US... I need a mim of 1.5 lakh...since I am going to creative head... I deserve what I demand...

HR was bit confused... he thought he was giving more then she deserve... But she was demanding more. The final decision will be made by the CEO of the company, and he informed the same to zoya. He called Asad and informed him regarding this, he didn't mention the name or anything only the higher demand. Asad said he will be down there in few minutes.

Asad come inside the office, reading a file in his hand, and goes and sits in the chair, doesn't look at her.(his way of intimidating the person)

A: listen mam, don't u think u r demanding too much in the beginning itself, let us see how u work.. if it is satisfactory we will consider ur raise... By the way what is ur name miss?

Z: zoya...zoya farooqi...

Asad looks up from his file...and looks at zoya... he didn't realize it was zoya... who was demanding...

Z:I know how much I deserve better then anyone...so I have the right to demand... don't u think so ...sir?

A:mr.khan...ok... justify ur demand... why do u deseve the salary...

Z: ok.. I am going to be creative head in the IT design of ur company. So far all the buildings u r going to build... I have to provide u the building before construction to u. I have to be with u and the client always to get to know ur ideas to in calculate in my work.. so it looks like 12-15 hrs job then a normal 8 hrs job. I will be responsible for the whole design of the building... so I will have heavy workload.

A: but ur work is mostly in the start of the project.. to get the client to see what the future building will look like...then it will belong to other department, and we don't take not more then 2 projects at a time... so u will have work for a month and will be free for alternative months...So...

Z: ie not my problem... U r paying u should find a way to keep us engaged... in other IT work of ur company too...

A: what is ur final demand ...

Z: it is 1.5 lakh per month.

A: done..

He looks at the HR bring in the appointment letter to my office..

A: zoya... shall I show the office u will be working.

Z: yeah sure..

A and Z leave the HR office.

HR manager and his assistant are talking to themselves.

A: sir, I think I have seen her somewhere...

M: yeah I also think so... But couldn't remember exactly... Anyways type her appointment letter...soon.. she is really talented to negotiate with boss...don't u think

A: yes sir... and start typing the letter..

A:oh god...

HR: what is it...

A: sir look at her address...Miss zoya farooqie, c/o Mr.Asad ahmed khan, khan villa, ...bhopal...

M: so ...she is our boss...BOSS...

A: yes sir... now I remember where I have seen her... her photo in our CEO table...

M:...finish the letter soon... She could have straight way joined the work... but why did she went through the interview...

A: I e the best part sir... she proved herself... as a professional...it will be fun to see u know.

M: meaning

A: I heard from Prasad.. if anyone can beat our ceo...is the mam...

Z and A are in the same floor were asad office is... A shows Zoya place, it is a big hall, and already 3 people were working, inside their cabin, zoya place was aside as the head, but within the hall. Asad introduces the members to Z and Z acknowledges them.

A: Zoya if u want I will get separate room for u...

Z:no asad... my work is more of a team work... I need to be with my team... this is ok..

A: ok... but u can always use my office... u know... The lounge to take rest...or anything...

Z: I know {smiles}

Z and A are sitting in A office, and the HR comes with the letter, asad signs the letter.

A: welcome to my office too...zoya... and give her the letter

Z: thank you asad...

M: sir, u could have told us ur wife is attending the interview... but what is the need for madam to attend these... she can join straight...the office..

Asad doesn't know how to react... he was happy Hr referred zoya as his wife... and didn't know how zoya is going to react for the comment..

Z: it is ok...I just wanted to see how u guys are working... how u guys are spending asad hard earned money...in the HR dept... and smiles...

Z: jokes apart... I want to come and take my job through proper channel... so that is the reason..

M: congratulation madam... welcome to our office

Z: thank you...

Zoya leaves asad cabin.. and goes to check her new post.

Asad thoughts:

He was so happy that Z is joining the company...he wanted Z to take up a job... Bcoz he didn't want her to think... think about the past. If she is going to sit at home... asad was sure her mind will wander in the past... and will disturb her... But if she is working... she wont have time to think in that line... And he slowly make her look at the present... Him and asya...

Ofcourse zoya will be with him 24 hours... Infront him... with him... her job will always make her accompany him anywhere he goes... Site or client...

A and Z can also interact without any problems, Z has been kind of silent with him, since she came back... now she wont have problem interacting with him professionally... and slowly he can extend it to personal space...

Z came back to A room, and both of them left together to see Asya school and also the hospital to check on S... A and Z became inseperable...as they have to be...

Awww, I loved how Asad didn't know who he was interviewing. Kudos to Zoya for demanding a raise! Then the HR convo and how they figure out she's his wife.

Their relationship is progressing, that's a good sign. I can't wait to read the next update!!
