Yes even after talak there is reconciliation period i guess. So in nutshell, these CVs are creating only confusion and hell bent to stretch this tacky track like a rubber for god knows how many days.😕

Right as if i am not mistaken a 3 months grace is given. There is another thing i know that happens in my country is that the husband can say talak once and be divorced but he can remarry the same gal again because he did not give her a 3 time talak . This also practiced in Indonesia.

Yes this is true. If you are not uttering the word 'Talaq' three times in row, you can very well marry same girl. But once you uttered 'Talaq' three times in row or lets say in installment😆 there comes the concept of Halala. Now you cant marry the same girl unless and until she is married and consummated with her second husband.

I am not a Muslim but have some understanding of their rituals.
To the best of my knowledge, there is no such thing as talaqnama shart. What you refer to is Mehar which is specified in the nikkahnama itself. They do not sign a separate document called talaqnama shart.

Maybe Gul has invented her own brand of Islam for the sake of her show!

Never heard of such a thing. Literally translated, it means conditions for divorce. Maybe this is the contract marriage part where they agree that the marriage will be dissolved after n number of days. Although, that is not acceptable in Islam either!

Like I said, Gul has invented her own brand of Islam for this show! I am sorry but I have no respect for someone who will misrepresent her own religion this way for the sake of TRPs or whatever!

Totally agree as NO religion should be shown in Bad light on Tele. This only creates misconception of religion and thats where most social problems start from.

Hi, I am not regular on this forum, but this was an interesting discussion so I thought I will share my two cents...

It was not shart but sharai, pertaining to the sharia laws I guess...

It was clearly written as sharai in hindi also...

So, maybe... just maybe... along with nikahnama, Zoya and Ayaan may also have signed the talaqnama...

Let's see how it plays out...
