When I started reading your post I felt a little sympathy for her, and then I started reading your second big paragraph and that sympathy somewhat diminished.
It made me realise just how many people have gotten hurt because of her unintentional mistake, and all she had to do to prevent that mistake from happening was to voice her suspicions to the man she apparently trusts and loves so much.

I don't think she deserves to be in a loveless, unhappy, forced marriage - no-one deserves that. But I don't feel as much sympathy for her because she could have prevented it from happening. I guess I just feel more sorry for the other people involved, mainly Ayaan and Humeira, and slightly for Asad.

I mainly feel sorry for Ayaan and Humeira because there was nothing they could do to prevent themselves from being in this situation..
I then feel slightly sorry for Asad because although he also could not do anything to stop the marriage from happening he forced Zoya to go with Ayaan when he could have simply told them to get a divorce.
Zoya I feel the least sorry for because her stupidity is the reason she is in this situation.

I do feel sorry for Zoya in the sense that the man she loves so much didn't support her or listen to her and instead he forced her to go with Ayaan.

I'm just trying to understand how this wedding is even being considered legit. Zoya was running away from goons and entered the community hall to hide and blend into the crowd, similarly ayan was also escaping from goons and took went into the community center to hide. What i don't get is why he left humaira in that room by herself and went outside. If he went outside and hid in the row of grooms and zoya hid in the row of brides - doesn't the quazi or the priest person need to know both of their names and ask if they agree to the alliance - ayan was on the phone and im not sure how zoya's response was taken as consent - i missed that scene... but over all this makes no sense. this marriage can't be considered legal or complete.

I'm sure asad wud go mad knowing zoya's plight and her being alone...even though he's partly responsible. I have a feeling Ayaan wont be looking after her, just looking at the spoiler videos he's already left her alone the first day. But there's no doubt that he's dying inside taking that horrid step in the forbidden house! But still...can't see zoya in this much pain...she's always been alone...even though she has appi and jiju...she's never had someone of her 'own' and asad was gonna be that someone and now he's gone!!!! I know what you mean, she has technically always been alone :(

I want this track to end soon and asad to barge through that door again and say "I'm here to take my zoya!" And if zoya resists Cz she's still upset I want him to take her hand and drag her out again!!!! awww now that would be one epic scene

Lovely post. Totally agreed with you. My heart broke for Zoya. The way she was clutching Asad's hand when they walked into that madhouse 😭. They are going to break her spirit in that house. She won't be the same anymore.

thanks:)
I can totally see that happening, we'll probably see a similar Zoya that we saw in the orphanage

Thanks for sharing your opinions :) Yeah if Zoya told Asad about her suspicions this could have possibly been prevented and that's unfortunate

(The audience knows that but the characters dont )
