Nice parallel.
Just like Ram never had any doubts about Laxman and Sita, Asad will never doubt relation of Aayaan and Zoya.

But, I hope Asya don't have the fate of Ram and Sita, bcoz they hardly lived together, Ram never got to see his children's childhood, Sita untimately went back to earth. Will Zoya go to fire?

Beautifully written...I just loved how you drew the parallels between the two characters...honestly I am not a huge fan of Ram but this post made me understand his stand a little better...honestly when people bless a couple to be as Ram and sita I dont consider it a blessing at all, they never lived a happy married life and I wouldn't consider to live in such marriage...yes Ram was a great king and will I like him to be my king or leader yes I would but would I like him to be my husbnd no coz at the end of the day he chose his duty over his wife and she had to fight for her respect alone...sita took an agnipariksha passed it and ram was ready to accept her back but she didn't go back why coz she had been ripped off her self respect...coming to the parallel that you drew with asad yes asad is right his duties are important and he needs to fulfill them but as you mentioned here something is being forced on zoya nd that is my biggest concern...zoya has been ripped off her self respect just like sita was yes they both made mistakes but for sita her self respect was very important and she never went back nd I hope that zoya does the same which I am sure she wouldn't and that will be.disappointing
At the end of the day I would rather marry a man who would not fulfill his duties in a perfect manner but stand by me in every situation nd never let me get robbed of my self respect rather than be married to a man who fulfils all his other duties but fails to be withme and save my self respect

Totally word!!! I would like Zoya to take a stand here, because she is not willing to be a part of this game. Islam gives her the right to get out of this mess, and I want to see the modern Zoya who wants to get out of this mess rather than stay with it. Like I wrote in my other post, this is the time that Zoya needs to bring her running shoes, and show how modern she is (but CVs have also always used Ta-Umra dialog with her! So dont know!!!) She should not be manipulated (either by others or her own self) to live in a relationship because of someone else. I want her to say no (like Pooja of movie Arth) to both brothers. And, then show Haseena her place! (not shut up because of the fear that Najma will be ill treated!) and then walk out with pride and dignity. This is the the Zoya I fell in love with. And that would be the twist I would love to see! But I know for drama sake that wont happen, and for AsYa sake eventually she will do what you fear - go back to Asad in the name of love.

We can talk more on why people bless couples to be like Ram-Sita ki jodi ! I always had the opinion you have, but my mom cleared it for me :)

I already mentioned dear I am not comparing stories. No way. Neither characters. I am just comparing the sense of duty (perceived or actual) winning over love and that going against a man's reputation for generations. Ram is critcised by several for this one decision till date... Just like many of us are hating Asad (or will hate Asad)

Ayaan is immature, and impulsive and he has objectified Zoya totally. Asad is bringing her to SM because he thinks the nikaah happened and that this is Zoya's rightful place and after the damage already done this is the right thing to do.But Ayaan is stupid to think that a game where Zoya comes for a few days like this can save Nikhat and selfish to ask his own brother (own brother) his bride on the day of his wedding...He has always come running to Asad for his problems. And this, his latest demand is ridiculous. Two minutes ago he tells Zoya not to tell anything to Asad, and few minutes later comes to ask for her as a toy, without realizing what she wants... asking her opinion or anything. I am waiting for Monday to see two things

1. Does the Maulvi ALSO ASK Zoya if she considers this Nikaah valid like he asks Ayaan in the precap AND
2. If yes, what is her answer!?!?

If she agrees, I can bet that she will then go to her ta-umra nibhana... Or that is my fear so I better hope she doesnt and runs away
