As I have said several times before, this is Gul's story and we have a choice to watch it or leave. Having said that, I am pretty sure she has an interesting story up her sleeve or else why would she risk such a big twist?
I am actually looking forward to seeing Zoya at the SM.
As fas as AsYa are concerned, they are not going anywhere. They are too strong to die or break. In fact, their love will become stronger and more passionate after this. Their longing for each other outweighs any anger/jealousy/hatred they could have for each other.
My take on the track:
Why do we forget that in this whole mess, Asad probably plays a role too? There has to be some significance of the blindfold on Zoya's eyes.
As far as Zoya and Ayaan saying QH to each other- they are both very impulsive people who can do absurd things to save their loved ones. Perhaps, they agreed to say QH and dissolve the nikaah right away (once whetever threat was thwarted) but circumstances (read Tanveer and her conspiracies) prevent them from doing so. They are basically 'trapped' in their own game. Humeira and Asad do know what's happening but can't do anything. Asad does shows signs of jealousy and anger (black vest) but continues to protect Zoya (he is standing between Zoya and Tanveer) while Humeira trusts Ayaan completely (hence standing behind him looking at Ayaan with a smile).
Ayaan and Zoya will grow up big time after this track...maybe they needed sucha big jhatka in their lives to make them realize that some things just cannot be played around with...
