Why is Inran being judged and held to a different standard as compared to Asad and Ayaan? Is it easier to forget and forgive cruel and manipulative behavior if it comes from the leads? Lets compare all three shall we:

Asad:

1. Is physically abusive towards Zoya - throws the phone at her, chokes, pulls a gun on her and yes even slaps her.
2. Disbelieve and humiliates his fianc in favour of the best friend.
3. Put her in the line of fire and sent her to Akram without even knowing the entire story.
4. Judged and berated her constantly.
5. Taunted her (initially) about her dead mother and father.

Of course he was redeemed post the SR but it doesn't mean Asad didn't do these things.

Ayaan:
1. Constantly flirts with Humeira but claims he doesn't love her.
2. Takes advantage of her goodness because it's an ego boost for him. Hell, he chose to ignore the fact that Humeira thought she was flirting with him online - what more of a clue did that idiot need.
3. Makes a deal with Razia and then is unbelievably cruel to Humeira, who didn't do anything to him!
4. Finally, completely and utterly breaks humeiras heart.

And I have all just listed out his crimes against Humeira. The man used and manipulated his brother at every turn. Yes, asad over-indulged but when was the last time Ayaan thought about anybody other than himself? He is selfish, immature and weak but somehow we aren't asking for Ayaan to suffer for his mistakes for the rest of his life.

Imran:
1. Agreed to marry Nikhat when he wasn't ready for it and did not stand up for her against his mother.
2. Cries to najma and begs her to come back because he is truly in love with her.
3. Ambiguity with regards to tanveers baby - however his sleeping with tanveer has nothing to do with either najma or Nikhat because he didn't cheat on either of them. Somebody's sexual past in not up for discussion. However, if the child is his then yes he needs to come clean.

Imran despite his lack of spine never took advantage of Nikhat - and he could have. He had the cajones to apologize to Nikhat yesterday and he told her the truth. In fact imran indicated once before to Nikhat that he was in love or had loved someone else.

Imran is no better or worse than our leads so why should he suffer a life of purgatory? With regards to yesterday everyone had some amount of blame for the situation - but shireen had the most.

1. What parent prostrates themselves in front of woman who insulted their daughter?
2. What stopped Nikhat from calling asad back and telling him how she felt? Or how about the one when she called him before eid?
3. Nikhat didn't need to lie for humeira - she could have indicated she was unhappy without taking imrans name!
4. Nikhat, I understand was blinded by love, but thanks to her parents and insecurity of looks she too swallowed her respect to go back for what?
5. Najmas first reaction was shock at seeing Nikhat there. Why isn't she allowed to be happy about the fact that imran loves her? She doesn't owe Nikhat or anybody in that family anything.
6. Asad and dilshaad's fault is that they rushed it but nothing is finalized.

After yesterday my hate for shireen and Ayaan is back full force and karma is definitely a bitch and I can't wait to see them suffer the consequences.

Tanveer, btw, will be angst but I wouldn't be surprised if she was proved a liar and the child is not imrans after all!

I seriously noticed that yesterday when Ayaan indicated that sautela point that he is the he who always speaks about that ...i really feel Nikhat is the only mature sister among all and she really cares about everyone just like Asad!!

Completely agree with u. Ayan is a selfish man. Asad is great bhaijan for ayan when he fulfill ayan's wishes but when asad is not agree with ayan, he becomes sautela. Hate this selfish ayan.

@chicksoup - thanks. I believe in watching a good story. All the characters have flaws and that's what makes it interesting. Good to know there are many (like yourself) who agree with that line of thinking

I keep reading people saying Asad was wrong and Asad should have met Nikhat one on one YES I AGREE. But I do not understand why people blame him for it? Not like he didn't try and not like he thought about Najma over Nikhat, right after knowing who the Imran was, Asad was way more bothered about Nikhat than even Najma, and they had not gone to fix the wedding, they were there only to meet up since they came to know about a relation between Imran Najma. Its a clear case of mis-communication, and what adds to it is the fact that Nikhat broke the relation herself. When we see it from her point of view its sad and I understand her pain but no one from the Khan family has snatched her love or her fiance from her. Ayan was angry, they were justified in being shaken because they were here in hope for a reconciliation but why blame the Khan family and Asad for something without knowing the entire truth. Anyone else pointing fingers at Asad from that family would be fine but Ayan is the one who claims to be the closest to Asad and he blamed Asad for something he is not known to do either. Asad is not some God there who always has to think for everyone before himself, he is equally human. Ayan needs growing up to do, because he has never thought beyond his own family and the sautelapan is in his mind, even though rightfully even Asad could think of it that way, but its his soft heart that yet makes him love even his step siblings equally as his own.
