Thanks Niharika...when Ranjini made this point yesterday..it was like a 'Eureka' moment..all of Zoya's reactions fell into place...Asad stopped living his life but Zoya made an effort to find solace...one day she will realize how badly she needs Asad in her life..but a lot of damage will already be done by then IMO..that is why the Gaffur track is needed...it is required to take Zoya from the 'Zoya Farooqi kuch bhi kar sakti hai' mode to the 'Zoya Farooqi cannot do this one thing- moving on without Asad' mode...

Ya...it's like u can victimize yourself or allow yourself to be the doormat all the time...everything has a breaking point and Asad lets go of a lot many things...and his behaviour with Tanveer was the biggest example of that...he just allows all of this to happen because he is Danveer Karna...🥱

This self sacrifice annoys me. All good people sacrifice. Yeh koi rule hain kya? Why can't there be good characters who are go getters and stand for themselves?

It's not a rule Neha..it's just the way this system is functioning...selfishness is considered to be the trait of not so good human beings..being a selfish person, putting your interest before the other is taken in a negative connotation...but if u are not even selfish enough to ensure your own survival at least...how will it work...of course people will take advantage..thoda selfish hona zaroori hai, and Asad is selfish in certain situations concerning Zoya but he becomes the epitome of selflessness in situations where he needs to put his own interest before the other...he is really naive...
