Soulmates~ Part 2

Asad is growing restless with every passing second. He is looking here and there, and finally figured out a petite form walking towards him. He stood rooted at his place. He couldn't take his away from her. His heart jumped out with joy. He ran toward her. They both stood face to face and none of them knew what to say. Asad gently held her hand and gave her a little squeeze giving her assurance that he'll take care of everything. Tears began to appear in their eyes. Zoya could see the flash of happiness in his eyes at her arrival. She could feel his concern for her. She gave him a slight smile to tell him that she is ok. Asad silently picked up her luggage led her way to the car. Once they are seated, he closely examined her face. She is looking beautiful..but the spark is missing in her eyes. She looked as if she is trying to hide her pain, as if she smiled heartily ages ago..He couldn't take it. Finally he asked her. Are you alright Zoya?? His voice cracked while asking her.. Zoya nodded silently in a yes. She looked away and bent her head down indicating him that she doesn't want to discuss anything. The ride to the home went on silently. Once they reached home Dilshad gave her a warm welcome. She was more than pleased to see Zoya after such a long time. She hugged Zoya, to which Zoya hugged her back. Dishad asked her whereabouts to which she politely relied. Later Zoya is taken to the guest room. She looked around the room..It felt so familiar. She remembered the way they used to jump around in that house. They were so close..

Zoya looked up as she heard a knock at the door. Asad came in with a plate with a chocolate pastry and sat on the bed beside her. They used to fight a lot for the chocolate pastry..He offered it to her...Zoya said thanks for that Mr.Khan..

Did she call him Mr.Khan? She never did that..He is hurt ..Zoya asked him Do you still like this pastry Mr. Khan? Asad replied some likes and habits never change unless we ourselves try to change them saying this he came out of the room hurt visible on his face.. Asad went to his room..He removed his coat and threw it in a corner. Why is she behaving like this? She is not even talking to him properly. Why is she doing all this? She should come out of her past and lead a happy life. Is it possible? Yes, he should make it possible. For that first he needs to make her open up..she should vent out her pain. He took a strong determination.

Asad went to his office but couldn't concentrate on his work. All that he can think about is Zoya..He should think of some other way to cheer her up. So he decided to take her out. He came back to home in the evening and asked Zoya to get ready . Zoya asked him where are they going and Asad said You never used to ask that..why do you care to ask it now? Just get ready..saying this he left her room.

She couldn't believe what she is seeing..She is in the boat at the middle of a lake with no one around them. It is almost mid night and the sky is shown by the beautiful stars and a full moon. She could remember her wish that she wants to be in the middle of a lake under a starry sky and live the moment like there is no tomorrow. She looked at Asad awestruck and in that second, Asad knew that he is in love with the girl infront of him. He is ready to do anything to bring solace to her heart. He is ready to bear any pain to bring a smile on her face.He could feel the love that he has for her..Yes, he is more than overwhelmed at that moment..He discovered the love of his life..He held her hand and looked into her eyes making a silent promise to himself that he would never let her go away from him..

He didn't divert his gaze and said to her almost like a whisper "Speak out Zoya, just tell me something. whatever you feel like sharing..Shout your heart out..let your emotions come out..There is no one around. It's just you and me, your Asad. Do you remember? You always wanted to do this.. Don't think of your past, don't think of your future..Just live this moment .." That's it.Zoya couldn't hold it any longer. She hugged him tightly and began to cry..

I hope you guys enjoyed it..If not, maaf karne😉the most important thing is, I began it as an OS but couldn't bring it to a conclusion yet..So please bear with me..
