Today is an important day in her life. She is going to India, the place which gave her a lot of memories, the place where she could find solace, the place where she was born ..She has been longing to be there for past 10 years. The flight took off..Zoya made herself comfortable in the seat and is lost in her thoughts. She was a 12 year old kid. She is the only child of her parents and was pampered a lot. She was the brightest kid in the school. She used to have a lovely set of friends to hang on and the best one was Asad Ahmed Khan. Yes, he was her best friend. The one who always made her feel so good, so special..She couldn't forget even a single moment spent with him..
It's been long..really long that she met him. Is he still the same? Most importantly is she still the same? Not anymore. She's not the same bubbly Zoya Farooqi who lived the life to the fullest, not after losing her parents in a dreadful car accident. She closed her eyes and is engulfed in pain remembering the night which changed her life.That fateful day not only took away her parents but also her smile, her happiness. No!! She is not the same Zoe..not anymore. She began a new life . She is now calm and composed.
Asad Ahmed khan- He is the most successful businessman. He is on his way to airport to receive his childhood friend Zoya Farooqi whom he used to call Zoe. He's going to meet her after 10 long years. He thought of the good old days when they used to have cute little fights, the way they used to support each other. Being neighbours they got along really well. She was 2 years younger than him but never behaved like one. She always had the authority over him and he never complained. They always shared every single thought. Whenever she was angry he used to smile and whenever she was sad he used to console her. But he was not able to take care of her when she needed him the most. Not that he didn't try, but she never gave him that chance. After the demise of her parents she did not want to live there anymore. She couldn't take it and opted to go along with her Aapi to USA. He begged her to stay back which she refused. His mother, Dilshaad tried a lot too, but all that went in vein. She fled away to America and since then he did not at least receive a phone call, nor did get any replies for his calls. She ditached herself from all the past relations and her past being. Today after 10 long years he received a call from Zoya's Aapi that Zoya is coming to India. She asked him to receive her and take care of her.
Airport:
Asad is waiting for her..Even after many years he feels so connected to her. He could feel her pain.He is not sure of his feelings. All that he wants is to give her all the happiness in the world. He wants to bring the smile back to her face. He wants to see her as the same old Zoya farooqi with whom he fell in love! Love??May be! He is not sure.
