Khan Brothers: The Path of True Love Epi Jul 8

Drawing on the parallels, today's episode marks the beginning of their respective journeys on the path of true love.

What is true love? If anyone has seen the movie Lootera, I am sure you would understand what I am saying.

-giving and not expecting anything in return

-strive for your loved one's happiness

-your prayers start and end for your loved one

-you want to protect them from every peril in this world

Both Ayaan and Asad have gone through some rough times recently but the only thing that would give them peace is the happiness, safety and well being of Humeira and Zoya respectively. While Ayaan is yet to realize that this is love, his actions today proved that he really does care for Humeira. For once he has taken responsibility for his own actions, and now is ready to fight any injustice towards her. Will his quest to help Humeira through this psychiatric ailment make him realize his deep seated feelings for Humeira? He will be selfless in taking care of Humeira. He will make sure she is happy. He will make her reminisce the good old times and make sure he doesn't hurt her feelings. Why would he do that? Perhaps, he does love Humeira and as Rajni mentioned- he just doesn't realize it.

Asad's impatience was very well portrayed today. While he kept missing her by a few seconds, his heart knew that she was around somewhere'

In the end, as he left the hotel with a heavy heart, he just prayed for her happiness and her safety. He didn't want anything in return. He didn't expect her to run into his arms or forgive him. It's this selfless love for Zoya that will translate into his prayers in Allah's darbar. We all know his prayers will be heard.

I loved today's episode. It was poetry and irony.

Door ho kar bhi paas ho tum,

Meri saanso me basa ehsaas ho tum,

Tumko ehsaas ho naa ho,

Per mere liye meri zindagi ho tum'.

On another note: I would like to commend the PH for showing us the real face pf psychiatric problems in India and their approach to treatment amongst the lay people. A number or people still believe that tantriks can cure one of these ailments...kudos to Gul!

Also, love the change from Urdu to Hindi in Humeira's language...very subtle but so typical of MPD

true di...well i havent seen lootera as yet but will do so soon...and i loved today's episode and as you wrote about parallels here...well for me Ayaan humeira were too lovely today...i am sure their journey now is gonna be hell entertaining and also intense ...and i think this path will make ayaan realise his deep rooted feelings for her...and am sure he would be the one to bring her back as humeira..and mr.khan well all i can say is if he is praying to allah then allah is always there for his followers...their is a saying bhagwaan ke ghar der hai andher nahin...same is the case with asad zoya...its their test and i think they both would come out of it unscathed soon but one to suffer over here would be tanveer for all her sins...am sure if not end then atleast allah giving tanveer some big lessons happens soon...i want her to pay for her sins big time now...today when she was playing with asad so that he doesnt see zoya it broke my heart...and am sure once her truth comes out before all it would be very interesting to watch

Honestly Sangi, am fed up of Billi n d height of illogical scenes frm d cvs:(

It was a beautiful episode...minus some illogical comedy circus...keeping that aside...i loved Ayaan -humera interaction...dunno why but I felt that Humera was subconsciously letting Ayaan know what she thinks about him and also subconsciously urging him to open up...i loved that and also the mangalsutra being ordered(he knows her taste but then she is Rajni now...loved the way he covered it up)subtle expressions..but this will lead to him falling for her.
Asad...my poor desperate soul...his eagerness to know whether it was zoya and why she was looking out for him...his frustration at not being able to meet her again and his desperate plea to the almighty in the end...hmmm love prevails even in desperate situations...Loved today's episode...will just erase Tannu and her antics for today:)
