Hi Sangeeta,

A very nice, positive analysis! 😊

I wasnt very disappointed with the episode when I watched it - though my reaction at first was just that: why are they rushing through the immuring scenes and what purpose did it serve? I agree the episode was very symbolic.

1) This highlighted the much evolved connection between Asad and Zoya; And once again reiterated Zoya's belief (in that coffee scene) where she told Asad that no matter what he would be there behind her; Despite the separation, they are emotionally together.

2) The wall itself was highly symbolic. Tanveer has tried every trick in every book to separate them and has now successfully installed this wall between. Asad breaking it and resucing Zoya is symbolic that they will unite - in Ajmer? Marriage or not, yes they shall reconcile.

3) Aah... it looks to me that well, they are following the synopsis after all. The scene in which Asad gently gets his hand off, isnt that very symbolic of an upcoming separation?? The difference this time will be that emotionally they shall be together - Throw back to the BNHH dance, where Zoya whispers something in Asad's ear (forgiveness?) and starts to leave... and also the Mar Jaiyen seq where they hug and unite for a bit and then they get pulled away!

4) Tanveer shall play her preggers card and Asad will agree to marry her ; Zoya will understand and here is where I see her have an active role in unmasking Tanveer - The F32 guy hinted something like that in one of his replies, I thought.

5) Humzie had to be either missing or display her DID - needed else she would have spilled the beans on Razia sending her to Raniganj and convincing her to leave the phone behind...

Of course, her becoming Rajni Shukla paves the path for a Zoya-Ayaan match. I do not understand why Zoya will agree... but it may come to play soon.

6) Dilshad - my biggest grouse was that she let Tanveer sit at the dining table but I am also sure that there would have been some interaction where Asad would not have Tanveer go which is why Dilshad is tolerating her! 😕 You are right- she is a mother who does believe in giving her kids space though in this case, I feel Asad has completely shut her out. They should show a scene where Dilshad suspects something - if Asad is this desolate at Zoya leaving, surely she would think as to why would he then sleep with Tanveer? Something fishy there...??

7 ) The wh*** has outstayed her welcome but considering the PH loves her, she is here to stay and I am going to grin and bear it.

Sangeeta, very nice post. I don't know how you find it in yourself to write an analysis after every show. The first part showed Asad's angst after hearing how Zoya has withdrawn into a shell and was suffering due to his "betrayal". Very poignant scene and beautifully portrayed by KSG. Felt sorry for him that he could not even share his grief with his biggest confidante: Dilshad. However, the "saving Zoya" scene didn't impress me much. I was left with unanswered questions. I expected more stronger emotions not subdued ones. I don't understand how he cannot share the news of finding Zoya with Dilshad, Najma and above all Zeenat. Aren't they worried about Zoya? Doesn't he have to inform the cops as he filed a missing person report? Why is Zoya unconscious for such a long time? If she was suffocated, then wouldn't the loss of oxygen cause brain damage? It's not like Tanveer used chloroform? Why didn't Asad take her to the hospital instead of a house visit by a Doc? What if Zoya requires more medical care? He just leaves when they say he cannot stay but she is still out? Why not call the cops as it was obvious foul play? Why? Why? Why?

I dont know where this show is headed. Don't have too much hopes left for the Ajmer track. I think the "intense moments" reported is probably more pain and angst and Tadap Tadap!

I can't take Tanveer any more. Need AsYa back together!! 😆

We as viewers expected mangalpur asad so there is disappointment but I would rather wait till tomorrow to see what happens about his reaction to threat on her life and also since Ajmer shoot was not done this madarsa track was intro in btwn so I give the ph some slack as they may not have been prepared for this and i doubt they will repeat mangalpur asad I think we may see zoya the lioness protecting asad not physically but protecting his honour and respect from tanveer and if there is mangalpur asad it may be on their wedding when tanveer will be fully exposed
In mean time it will be qubool hai btwn asya with circumstances they are in
Zoyaan accg to me may never happen zoya will never move from asad and that too with aayan also I don't see a reason for her to marry aayan even a entry in sidduiqui house is not reason enough

@bheegi - You are most likely gonna disagree. Harini does...we have been hotly debating it 😆

Here:

Symbolisms:

1. Asad breaking down the wall to fight for Zoya. This one is fairly obvious but Asad will always break barriers to be Zoe's protector.

2. The hand holding scene and the gentle untangling of it - to me this represents a time in the future when Asad will gently let Zoya go to figure out her father. He will not put her in the position to choose between her love and the father she has searched for. It will be another supreme act of selflessness.

3. Humeira's DID. Many think it's paving the way for Zoyaan but I don't see it that way. I think this is the start of Ayaan's redemption. Ayaan's penance may be looking after Humeira and bringing the girl he and everyone else once knew back. The AsYa and AyRa stories have always run in parallel so that's my explanation for it.

4. Tanveer's unfocussed and delusional behaviour - this will lead her to miscalculate and follow Asad to Ajmer which leads to the revelation of the truth about the SR, i.e, Tanveer will basically end up screwing herself.

Beautiful post as always, I love the episode today and agree with everything you said. Argg tanveer drives me mad, just looking at her makes me mad. She is getting way to overboard with everything and it doesn't seem to be justified. I mean she got what she wanted right, asad and Zoya separated, her evilness knows no bounds. Her punishment requires slowly being tortured ( sounds really sadistic) lol. Regarding the whole Ayaan and Zoya, if they do go down that end, it still doesn't makes sense to me as to how they will even go about it even if they are indicating to go that way, but whatever I will take it as long as they don't butcher the characters along the way.

My only problem would be tanveer and asad together, I can't accept this one, after what she did, if Gul decides to go that way of getting them together, she will regret it as I don't think anyone would accept this as she would be sending out the wrong message. From the beginning this show has shown evil over powers good, but it's high time that good wins. I'm slowly losing hope with the way they are going, I don't have any expectation with the Ajmer track either as I don't wanna be dissapointed as with ph when they hype to much about certain track I feel like we all are left dissapointed after. Well lets see where they take this show. Their love is too beautiful and doesn't deserve all this 😭

Asad today made me fall in love with him more, this guy has a soul so pure and man his love is beyond now.. There is no going back, tanveer can try all she can but as he said and indicated to her before no one can replace or have the significance of Zoya in his life, no matter what.

Belle

Thanks Belle. Actually, if one looks at AsYa's love story, it's just the beginning of a long journey. They have barely realized their feelings and have unfortunately been separated. It's their time away from each other that will make their bond and love stronger. I feel Ajmer will reinstate their trust in each other but Asad's blind faith in Tanu will bring about another separation. How Ayaan will fit in the picture is anybody's guess but just as Asad has to go through the pain of Tanu, Zoya might have to go through Ayaan to finally unite with Asad. I am pretty sure Asad won't get married to Tanu as Zoya will unravel Tanu (finally) We just have to enjoy AsYa's journey- whether they are together or separate (physically)

Love the symbolisms you have pointed out Sangeeta. The episode, as you said, was definitely laying the ground work for all the tracks to come. It was also the setting for the shows two OTPs.

Standout scenes -

1. Asad's selflessness when he lets her recuperate at the orphanage
2. Asad's pain and devastation has he refuses to eat, sleeps on the floor and shuts his mother out.

Though there are many loopholes the angst itself is gripping. Hats off to the writers, actors and director for creating that.

I do have to ask though, apart from the AsYa scene that followed as part of the narrative what was the purpose of the immuring?

Thanks Pri. yeah, they went a little bit overboard with the immuring scene. It was not dealt with the seriousness that it should have. It was almost like yahan roz koi na koi immure hota rehta hai type of attitude but I feel it was more of a symbolic scene rather than a game changer

LOL, I agree with your point 1 and 4. Tanveer will end up screwing herself... BUT WHEN? I would love it if happens in Ajmer but seeing F32's unabashed defence of Tanveer yesterday, I dont see that happening any time soon!

As I mentioned earlier, I do not know how Zoyaan will come about and personally I do not like that storyline. However, all the symbolisms (BNHH, Mar Jaiyein, Ta umr dialogue and now Humaira getting out of the way) make me think thats where the story line is headed to...

Am done predicting and theorising. I shall just watch :-)

I truly hope so. Humeira needs Ayaan's love and I need AsYa back together! 😆 Asad needs to kick Tanveer's butt out of their lives. I really don't care what history they shared when they were 10 (or whatever age). It's HISTORY and immaterial after 15-20 years of not meeting!

Agree with everything you said harini. I know you and I are going to be the minority on IF as we think Gul is following the original synopsis. AsYa love story is going to be a long journey and they probably won't unite physically for a while...we are witnessing their emotional reunion and that will lay the foundation for the future tracks. Billi although irritating is just going to be a small part in the journey ...

I hear ya RK. BTW, are u back from vacation? I think the PH didn't want to put too much effort or time into this immuring scene. It was quite rushed and frankly not needed. It was more of a symbolic scene rather than a game changer. Your points are all valid and that was my first response too

I try to write a review more so I can interact with you all...part of the charm of QH is online discussions with some very interesting people (like you😊)
