Relationship of Asad and Zoya!

So happy with "Qubool Hai" these days..I am pretty sure that Qubool Hai team wanted IPL to finish before they could touch the important subjects of the show..I blame IPL for the overdone Tanu track..so glad that "Qubool Hai" is moving forward now!

I totally enjoyed the breakfast scene of Zoya and Asad!!! Thanks to aalo ka paratha, Zoya in her own cute way told Asad that she doesn't wanna get yelled at any more..and she's gonna stay away from anything and everything that could give him an opportunity to shout at her. Asad also got the message that Zoya is done with his anger issues and doesn't want him to get upset at her again for any reason. I love how AsYa were just having their own little discrete conversation even when they were surrounded by other family members.

So the skirt argument did impact Asad a lot. He pondered on Zoya's words..and his gift to Zoya totally shows the change in Asad. He knows that Zoya is a modern girl and she likes to wear modern outfits so he gave her a sleeveless shalwar kameez...modern and yet a traditional outfit..Asad remembered Zoya's words that she does things to please him so this time Asad chose to please Zoya by giving her something that he thought Zoya would like.

His first gift note was "ap ko ek baar saree mein dekha tha, ap bohat khobsurat lag rehi theen" and his second note was, "...issay pehen kar, garden mein..." Asad wanted to see Zoya in something that pleased him..Both the gifts were obviously special to Zoya too but the gifts were all about him in a way..but this time it was a different thing..he actually spoke to her in person..His words were "I hope AAP ko acha lagay". He gave her that gift only because he thought that she would love it! It was all about Zoya and what pleased her..but at the same time, it was something that Asad liked too..and that's why he picked that outfit!

I think that he gave her an Indian outfit because of the photo session--I wouldn't be surprised if he gives her a purdy dress next time, now that he has understood that clothes don't necessarily define someone's character!

Asad came to Zoya's room to apologize in his own way by giving her a gift..Zoya didn't know that Asad came to apologize..she didn't even let him finish his sentence..and she actually apologized for the whole scene that happened between them. FYI, Zoya wasn't apologetic about wearing a skirt..her sorry didn't mean that she changed her mind about the clothes..but she was "sorry" for making Asad mad..she said "ap abhi tuk gusa hain."
I love how they both put their relationship above their egos and sooner or later say sorry to each other and make up.

I once heard that someone asked the secret of a healthy relationship to a couple that had been married for over 35 years (long time in today's society)..and the couple replied, "Constant forgiveness--Don't get bitter and you will make it."

In any relationship, people will fail you, disappoint you, get mad at you, and misunderstand you but you gotta chose to forgive and not hold grudges...because many people ruin their relationships and their lives by taking the poison of bitterness, resentment and unforgiveness.

AsYa's relationship is so beautiful. They both know the importance of walking in forgiveness--they do get super mad at each other but they don't stay mad at each other! AsYa are on the right track!!! :)

Anyhow..that's all I have for now..looking forward to watch AsYa's photo shoot tomorrow!

Love your post. As soon as I read it, had to put my 2 cents in. I've already watched that scene several times coz I liked the simplicity of it. Next week, we're gonna get some really emotional, romantic, and touching scenes (not necessarily all in one). But, you're right, Asad has definitely started understanding Zoya's moods especially when she is upset/angry. Btw..I love his style of apologizing. And yea, you are right. This was the first time he thought of her before himself and his feelings. Like both Asad and KSG said, this was the actual first step in their love journey. This one and when she will wear the outfit for him combined. Again, beautifully written post 😃
