Yes dressing matters but for the occasion or event and judging a character of a person by clothes is not fair or right. On religion well, I do believe that NO GOD of any faith will ever judge a woman based on the kind of clothes she wore. See the wise men themselves have given varied interpretations to the preachings. As times change, progress takes place there is a need to accomodate and adjust. Now education and health are important for women which during Certain practices need to be changed as per the prevalent time and importance. Perhaps thats why the CVs have put this worth so that it triggers a change.
A woman's body as viewed by a man depends on his thinking/values and principles and the onus does NOT lie on the woman. This has been researched across many countries and men themselves have conceded to this.

I know enough. Do not presume to know what i read or don't read.

If you cannot appreciate that people are going to disagree then don't post topics where people are going to question the very ideology of what you have said.

Edit:

And since we are talking about Islamic behaviour - Is it Islamic for Zoya to be living in the house with a man who is NOT related to her?

You don't get to pick and choose what is/isn't Islamic. I know for a fact that as per the quran and fatwa laws what Zoya is technically doing is not within the boundaries of the religion. So, before the mini-skirt question that!
