Yes, I am writing the whole story in a single MS Word file. I'm up to 160 pages with 2 chapters and an epilogue to go. This story is almost as long as one of my original-character novels. They usually run 250 - 300 pages.

Sorry, I cannot send out individual chapters. That would be unfair to other readers. Hopefully, IF will have the issue fixed soon!

Thank you for trying to come to my rescue! I understand being a silent reader - as I usually am one myself. Would you mind clicking on the LIKE button if you don't want to leave comments? It will give me a better idea of how many people are reading my work.

This story will end up being as long as a full-length novel and ALL THE RIGHT MOVES will be even longer. I don't want to put in the effort to write novel-long stories unless I know people will read them.

Try pasting and then using the above icon paste from word. It says it will fix the format. Don't know if this works, but if it does, good.

I don't understand what you want me to do. I can copy the section into a new Word document. I don't understand what you mean when you say "then using the above icon". Which icon is that? Then you instruct me to paste again. So, after I use the 'above icon' on the section pasted into a new Word document, I should copy and paste from the new document?

Sorry for the confusion. I really appreciate your help!

Woops - I figured out what you were saying. You want me to use the icon from the reply window. Sadly, it's the same, if not worse since the font is wonky now, too:

CHAPTER NINE

The next morning Dilshad accompanies Zoya to her office. She looks at the empty front desk.

€œZoya, where is your receptionist?€ Dilshad asks. €œI thought you hired someone.€

Zoya nods. €œWe did, Phupee. I don€™t know where she is.€

Everyone,

I'm sorry I can't paste the new chapter. So many people have tried to help me fix the editing issue but it's just not working! I cannot cut-and-paste the new chapter and it's too much to re-write the chapter in the reply window. I've sent a message to the mods but I don't know when they'll fix it.

For those people who got a chance to read the story (weird characters and all!) THANK YOU for keeping the details to yourself. There are some twists that are best enjoyed by reading the chapter.

I hope to post Chapter 9 soon!

Not until IF fixes the formatting problems. Now things are getting stranger. I tried to post again and everything is centered on the page as well as being full of strange characters. It would be too hard to try to read such a long chapter with the formatting issue.
