Now I am not defending anything Asad said. But some things said on this forum, i do disagree with. Many of you here have stated that if Asad loves her, he would trust her. I do have a rebuttal for this. Trust is something very complicated and it can only come with time. Considering the fact that Asad and Zoya have barely known each other, I don't think either of them trusts the other fully. They first need to know each other for trust to set in.

They do love each other. But unconditional love, that is trusting a person blindly is both unrealistic and improbable without a sufficient amount of time.

I am not defending Asad or what he did, but I think the MU is not unrealistic. Asad needs to tame his attitude and everything but I think that's what QH is about, how Asad and Zoya change for the better. Since that's the entire story, I think we'll eventually get there but to get to unconditional love there is time.

PS- The is ofc a very personal opinion, people may feel differently because we have different views of and expectations from love.

Trust does come with time, not love. You can love a person and not trust them and you can also trust a person but not love them. Trust is much more difficult to earn than love.

I agree completely. Its like he trusts Tanveer but he doesnt love her. Trust gradually comes with love but not initially !

I hate what Asad did but i am shocked seeing how people are demanding Ayaan-Zoya now or saying he doesn't deserve her because his love is not true as he doesnt trust her.

They have barely known each other. They don't even know each other's complete history yet, trust is not guaranteed. But he could've been more civil though, and he need not be that insensitive. But you raised a very true point.

It's Asad and Zoya's story😕 That's why I was baffled they would want Zoya to fall in love with someone else. Separation or Zoya giving the cold shoulder is absolutely welcome but falling in love with someone else? That I don't get.

Well expressed, my thoughts exact. He trusts Tannu cause he knows her with time, If i was in Asad's place, i would have chosen my best firend over a guy whom i barely knew. So he is justified well enough! 😆
