Very valid point.

We all react without thinking when anything goes in QH just like Asad honestly.

But I get where you come from the only thing we all dont like is his way of expressing it to Zoya.

He needs to be tamed and the only person who can do it is Zoya but for that he needs to start trusting her and for that he needs to spend time with her and get to know her better.

If he keeps on spending time with Tanveer this would never happen.

Asad - I think he is a very complicated person but my gripe with him yesterday was more to do with the fact that he forgot the conversation he had with Zoya about her fear of fire. Though, I do blame the writers more - cause it was a horrible blooper. But it does kinna make Asad look like an ass when he seems to remember that Tanveer hates fish from 20 years ago but somehow can't remember Zoe's fear of fire from a few weeks ago.

4lions and the mighty bloopers. Bad screenplay. I am used to 4lions and their shitty screenplay.😆 I've learnt not to let shitty screenplay affect my view on the characters. 😆

Maybe you're right in the sense that blind faith in someone comes over time.

But doesn't he already know her enough and trust her enough to know that she wouldn't just intentionally let someone get burned?
And add to that all the other times he was wrong about her, shouldn't he at least think that there might be a reasoning behind her actions?

I agree with your post. Like you said, I don't condone his actions but do understand where he is coming from. I think more than trust, what is missing is understanding. I just thought there should be a little more understanding at this stage of their relationship. But it is true that there has been a certain growth in character for both of them except for the occasional slip-ups/fights.

Agreed @TM but when you love someone you are supposed to give him/ her at least the chance to speak for her own. Asads blind trust on one and blind untrust on another is ridiculous .

Even if Zoya was at fault he was not supposed to insult her at all.Yes trust comes with time but in that case Tanveer was also away for several decades. How can he trust her blindly ? And at the same time Zoya proved time and time again her worth but still she was not even given a chance to explain. Is that right?

I feel there's no reason to defend Asad . What he is did wrong and he will continue to do more for a while because IMO he trusts Tanveer not because he had known him only but because she covers her head and body and Xoya wears western clothes. He is still stuck with his ancient beliefs and at this moment It would be bad for Zoya to even think about being associated with him, let alone marry him. Her marriage won't survive a fortnight and even if it does Zoyas life is going to be unbearable unless or until this man is taught a very hard lesson right now.

Tanveer is here to give him a tight SLAP on his ego and ONLY then he might learn.
