Bigg Boss 19 contestant Pranit More has opened up on whether the Veer Pahariya controversy helped him bag Salman Khan's show.

Stand-up comedian Pranit More is one of the contestants of Bigg Boss 19. Recently, he was in the news after he filed a police complaint against 10-12 people who assaulted him for his jokes on Veer Pahariya. This had happened in Solapur. After Munawar Faruqui, he is the second stand-up comic on the show. Talking to India Forums, he said, “I feel Bigg Boss 19 will surely benefit me but I don’t know how. I feel like I am starting from zero in the world of TV. If I was a TV actor maybe I could have imagined by journey ahead from this show.” Pranit More said he feels his participation in Bigg Boss 19 can have a positive or negative outcome. “I hope people will remember me from this season,” he says.
Pranit More reveals not being an avid watcher of Bigg Boss 19
The comedian said he has never watched Bigg Boss as a fan. “I always thought what exactly do people on the show. I feel this is a challenge, especially staying without technology. What will you do to keep yourself entertained?”,” he says.

I was well-known even before this whole Veer Pahariya incident happened. I was famous. Yes, I got the controversial tag but it’s wrong to say I got fame because of it. I was working before that happened, and mere hisaab se maine accha kaam kiya hai,” he states.

Will he aim for a journey like Munawar Faruqui?
Pranit More said he admires the journey of Munawar Faruqui but feels his colleague has different career goals. “He was a good stand-up comic. Then, he won Lock Upp, and went on to win one more show. He has also debuted as an actor. I do not think acting is my forte. I would like to expand as a stand-up comic and do bigger shows in the future,” he said.
Bigg Boss 19 has brought Pranit More as one of the contestants. He is a stand-up comedian who came into the headlines after the Veer Pahariya incident. He had filed a case against 10-12 people who assaulted him for poking fun at the Skyforce actor in his comedy skits. Pranit More said he has not watched Bigg Boss in the past.
