It is ironic that Asad who reposes blind faith in a childhood friend whom he hasn't been in touch with for a long time cannot do the same for Zoya. And that is heartrending and painful. Given all that they went through together and their history, I would expect the man to wait a bit before accusing her of such stupidity. Zoya is playful, but she is very sensible when it comes to the larger picture. Even Asad should have recognized that by now. I thought that he had gotten past that stage- Zoya has proved many times that she is very pragmatic and makes right decisions. Case in point- Akram, whom Asad had trusted blindly, but turned out to be the worst human being imaginable.

Asad might be the man who went on his knees for Zoya at the airport, but his on the spot listing of what Zoe supposedly messed up in the past- Maryam, the gas cylinder, Ayaan's engagement etc,. was something I couldn't identify with.

So what we see is history repeating itself. Asad might have come a long way since the Akram fiasco- with Mangalpur, his Ammi's shooting and all that. But at heart he still perceives Zoya in the mould that he had created for her earlier. The irresponsible, careless child-woman who doesn't know the importance of relationships. Which is as further from the truth as it can be.

I think Zoya has proved many a time that she is fully understanding of how relationships work, given her yearning for her Ammi and Abbu. For Asad to hit on that weak spot today, again, for the nth time just got my goat. Sorry, but all the progress that they had made through their heart-to heart conversations just went down the drain for me today.

All of us here are frustrated with this endless loop- when is this relationship going to mature to a point where there is a basic understanding and mutual trust between the partners, if not complete agreement on all issues?

Therein lies both the appeal as well as the source of frustration regarding AsYa, I guess. Par aaj mujhe Asad ki behaviour bilkul bhi qubool nahin hai. Asad miyan was just not justified today.

Thanks and its okay if you have a differing opinion because it is right in its own right.👍🏼Asad's behaviour is usually not justified - it only has roots and reasons. His treatment of Zoe is bipolar - its either extreme love or else its accusations galore. What is needed is a middle ground where he is loving of her as a package deal and not judging her on her negatives.

This relationship is going to take quite sometime to mature or else you will not see the suffering. The only thing that is definite is , that no matter how much they fight or judge , one dangerous curve , and they will come rushing for each-other, from any corner of the world.

Well Vick...u always do see things in a different perspective...
Only one thing i could say to AsYa... ASad must learn to control his tongue... and zoya should think b4 she leaps and bounds...
but in this case i think even asad knows about zoya drawing the blood samples from tanu...that is the good part in their relationship

Thank you, Fizzi. Of course, i realize that and recommend Asad for speech and emotion therapy. 😆... and no, Zoe doesn't take anything lying down. Asad maybe her weak spot but she gives ut back to him after speedily recovering from his jhoothe ilzaam. Asad crosses his line all the time and Zoe makes him pay - in 'marathons'.😉

For the first time i wouldn't agree with your post no women deserves to be reminded again and again about having no respect for rishtey as he said rishton ka mazak. ASAD this poor girl has been through so much. I did see those tears they both are madly in love and yes he cares for HIS best friend but dont insult her by bringing the rishtey in the middle everytime.

Aapke bina iss forum ka kya hota 😆 ILY 🤗 really do

You do know what I am going to say, I am always balanced in my thoughts about both characters. And though I admit to be bugged or annoyed with Asad's outburst, but deep down I think I get his frustration too, and even Zoya's. Asad's anger stems from his annoyance of Zoya taking her own feelings and their relation's standing in a very kiddish way and does not act upon it maturely. He knows what he feels, he can sense what she does too, but he sees no response but some jokes and more jokes from her side, which is something he cannot rely on according to his nature lol.
And I get Zoya's foul mood too, she is in love, she is flowing with it, drowning into it, getting so much love attention and blessing but her smile is not reaching her eyes because she wants the same Asad who went down on his knees and said she was his fiancee and had the rights to stop her once again. She wants him to be upfront like the way he was the other day, but she is annoyed that he only blushes like a bride which she would rather like doing. 😆 THIS ALL is about them and not Tannu, maybe Tannu is trying to save herself but she is actually just triggering the already broken pieces in their relation and actually helping them get over them and eventually get together. Her attempts to hide her faults have to leave back some thing that is seen by someone.

As far as Asad not deserving Zoya or her getting back at him comes, I honestly do not understand such statements. Because love is beyond all this. I agree that one needs to respect the other in a relation, but that is when you've already worked on it, accepted, confessed and committed to the other. Here they are yet going through all these emotions to reach the point where they will be confident enough to first accept it to themselves and then to the other. They are yet coming to terms with their own feelings and fighting with them because of the basic nature of their characters. Why do we judge either in how right or wrong they are when its not even the right time to do that.

Hey, it's always nice to have different opinions- it is good to debate and clarify😊 I get what you say about Asad rushing in to rescue Zoe or get her back at the last moment. Maybe their relationship will reach a point where there is understanding. Maybe.

But do the ends justify the means? Asad is just downright cruel sometimes, and I just can't take it. He has hurt Zoya emotionally, knowing where to hit so that she can get the maximum pain out of his barbs. Forgetting the time he slapped her, of course. That is still an indigestible ouch moment for me. Their relationship is becoming borderline abusive at times, where the woman continues to take it, the man repeats his behaviour, apologizes, only to perpetuate the same cycle again. A tad frustrating, don't you think? That's the reason everyone's fired up today. Not the chicken blood, which was plain silly and ridiculous.😆
