Arnav was an extremist sort of a man. Didnt believe in religion and all, didnt talk nicely to anyone other than family, mean, ruthless, the rich spoilt brat. He had a problem with the poor class.

Asad is not an extremist. He smiles occasionally, he talks nicely to everyone. Respects everyone regardless of their class. Not ruthless, he even treats his employees nicely remember Akram before he knew about him? Whereas Arnav just blasted off everyone. Asad is not a spoilt brat, he is very much grounded. Religion holds immense importance for him

I agree to an extent.

Arnav to me seemed more indifferent to the world around him, rather than mean. I wouldn't say he intentionally hurt anyone, he just didn't care much about others, or showed he didn't because no-one cared for him and his sister after his parents died. He was also from a poor background and worked himself up, so I don't think he was spoilt, he was a self-made man.

But he was an extremist. Either extreme love, extreme dislike or extreme indifference, there wasn't much middle ground. He changed his ways a lot after Khushi entered his life. Wuthout all his other flaws, Arnav had charm and a vulnerable side.

Asad in some ways is similar to Arnav but different at the same time. He is more silent, a bit like MSK. He keeps his distance from women out of respect for them and due to religion. I would say he is slightly less romantic than Arnav and MSK, at the moment. Asad unfortunately went one further than Arnav and MSK in terms of aggression and harshness by actually slapping Zoya and always being horrible to her, and especially saying Zoya didn't deserve a mother (these things were unnecessary, you can show a serious and hurt character without going this far, these things really made his character hard to relate to). He has a sort of sarcastic and dry humour, I actually like that. He is very loyal, I know we hate Tanveer, but he doesn't just go against his childhood friend because of his love for Zoya, that is admirable, he is a man who cares about his friendships, obviously it's only acceptable because he doesn't know Tanveer is creating the problems, once he does he should cut ties with her out of loyalty to Zoya. The others didn't really have friendships. Asad also isn't an orphan.

But I do think there are more similarities. All three men were/are impulsive and irrational, and say things without thinking or trying to find out the facts of a situation before accusing someone of something. All three were/are aggressive, and also insulted the women they loved. They all have slightly serious personalities until they find someone to love, who changes them and makes them happy. They rarely smile, and tend to only do so after they've fallen in love. They find trouble expressing themselves to the one they love, especially Asad who can't even admit his feelings to himself. All have unhappy pasts, Arnav's being the most tragic. They're very stubborn, and like to do things their own way and don't like interference. Family is the most important thing to them. And magically all three fall for bubbly girls who aren't their type apparently.😆

I cannot fathom why you would say what you just said about Zoya! Are we watching the same show?

And you said she has no "woman power"?!

Holy hell.

I'm going to assume you're new to show and you missed a lot of episodes because Zoya is the only one of them that is actually intelligent and has "woman power" 🤔 I can't even...

Oh no, please dont mistake me for an Arnav hater for my first love is IPKKND itself! QH came only after IPK ended (though i love QH just the same now).
I didnt elaborate much on Arnav, just stated the very obvious differences and elaborated more on Asad as its the QH forum and i rhought maybe Asad is more relevant.

Having never watched Geet, i have no idea as to how Maan was.

But as for you said about Arnav is without a doubt correct. He was indeed a self-made man but one can not deny to the fact that for him, the world was only his family. He was ruthless, but yes, the man had a heart too. Just a bruised one. Owing to the dark past he had.

But he was an extremist to all his feelings like you stated. And to be honest, he didnt care about what his actions did to the other people around him cuz life had taken away his sensitivity. But Asad although has gone through a very rough phase is not like that.

Why? Because he had someone much old enough to teach him. To calm him. His mother. While Arnav had an elder sister not too old.

The TM wanted to know some differences, so i just stated them without actually going on reasoning every point because it seemed as if the TM had seen IPK and was aware of the situation there. So i felt no need.

Neither Asad or Arnav were wrong in behaving as they did but there is no much similarity i see between them. And the differences i stated (all i could think of atm), the reasoning very beautifully you did 😃

ASR and AAK had issues with their respective fathers.ASR was a volcano...doesn't think twice before erupting... AAK is more like a tamed lion...but a lion nevertheless..u don't let go of ur traits no matter how much tamed u are:)

Don't who MSK is,

As for ASR - (let's assume the initial one) He was the kind of guy that made you hate him but at the same time had this allure that strongly drew you to him. He was an atheist and very modern. He was in a live relationship and didn't mind all the 'short skirts'(so as to speak). He was reserved.

Au contrary Asad is very traditional and religious. He is very chauvinistic as well. As Zoya puts it he's from the 17th century. But he's not too reserved and indulges his family and smiles a lot.

Both these characters have a strong allure. They both had to work hard to get where they were. They don't want to fall in love.

Asad definitely doesn't engage in as much physical violence as ASR.

Pls explain her woman power...I don get it..sorry...someone else has to convince aak of her motives eg airport scene when he realised she went to ayaans house for him...royally got his mom insulted..everytime she wants to do somthing for him..she irritate s him more...eg the tanu bathroom scene..

Khushi and geet were both more mature women.
