She came all the way from new york and living alone in India to search for her father. She didnt take anyone's help. And you are saying the other two characters are mature and signify women power !!! what to say !
I think you did not watch the episodes where she, with her skill, tracked down Dilshaad's murderer and brave enough to follow him alone.
She doesnt work here because she is in India on a mission.
I am sorry but looks like you have started watching the show only recently and didnt care to catch up from start.

Ok, I get it that you didn't watch the episodes from the beginning. So just summarizing Zoya in few points;

1. She ran away from the wedding which was forced on her through emotional black-mail unlike many women on tv who give into emotional black-mail.

2. Questioned the biased attitude towards women in this country in the first meeting with AAK, gave a logical and fitting reply to chauvinist AAK lik, tameez dil me hoti he Mr. Khan jeeans mai nahi.

3. She saved Najma by eve-teasers by showing her karate skills, she made AAK ask her sorry by setting 'I am sorry Zoya' password on his mobile, she set up a alarm system to Khan house. In one word she is tech-savvy.

4. She saved a girl who was forced to marry her rapist, by putting her own life at risk. Isn't that about women power where she stood against the stupid practices like marrying off a girl to her rapist?

5. She cracked the whole 'Dilshad shooter mystery' by her common sense and intelligence. For once they showed that there can be a girl who stands as equal to a business tycoon unlike Khushi and Geeth.

Khushi and Geeth were also strong in their values and stood by those values but what is something different about Zoya is, unlike them Zoya is modern and stands equal to Asad, sometimes more intellegent than Asad😊

Now what she is doing not running behind Asad, she is making Asad to admit his feelings, because she knows Asad loves her, Asad is not expressive when it comes to openly flirting with the girl whom he loves unlike MSK and ASR. So Zoya is making him to express it out. Incase of MSK and ASR once they realized they are in love they took the first step towards expressing it by their flirtatious actions so Geeth and Khushi had to go all blushing and shy and give them some hard time with some nakras but Asad is not like that, he expresses only when Zoya is in danger otherwise he just tries to avoid her, so here Zoya is being like MSK and ASR 😆

Geet was a girl who had suffered a lot in life,she was pregnant with Maan's brother's baby,her own family wanted to kill her etc.But when Maan came into her life all her troubles,tears and worries started going away.The one thing Maan and Asad share are their respect for women,they both very well respect women which I think Arnav lacked.

Zoya had no one in her life except her Appi and Jiju,when she met Dilshaad and Najma and they became her family.She felt attached to every member of that house including Asad.At first it wasn't love but when he saved her from Akram's goons,Mangalpur's goons etc. her home became his arms.She knows he will always be right beside her ready to to protect her.I will say GHSP and QH are very similar yet different.

IPK on the other side was really different from them.It was completely a hate-love story.Arnav was completely a ruthless man and Khushi had a very happy life until she met Arnav though later they fell in love.( Don't take me wrong I like all the three of them.)

ASR doesn't believe in God while MSK and Asad do believe in God.
ASR had a girlfriend which was La while asad does not.
ASR was more rude at the beginning of IPK not only with khushi but even the staff of his company or HP,OP etc..while Asad was only rude with Zoya

Even if you did it wouldn't be a problem, I'm not one of those crazy fans who would bite your head off.😆

I totally understand your points about Arnav, I was just saying that my perspective is a little different to yours. It's like you said he wasn't sensitive and he hurt people, but I was just saying that he didn't actually trying to hurt people as in he didn't plan to hurt them, or it wasn't his intention. He lacked empathy, but it seemed like a facade to me, remember the girl with the doves? That showed he does have feelings for people, but he is generally more about profit and benefit.

Arnav had flaws, but to be honest those are the things that made him interesting and I liked him for it.

I generally like Asad too, but they seem so inconsistent with his character sometimes, especially after Tanveer entered. Now we're seeing less of Tanveer actually being around him, he seems so much better. This Tanveer has a bad influence on him.😆
I like him more when he's around Zoya.😳

If I had to pick I would say Arnav, Asad and Arjun are my favourite characters out of the characters created by the production house.

Also Zoya is probably one of my most favourite female characters ever. I just love her.

Arnav was more of a businessman than them all. He seemed like the most ruthless but also the most romantic - even though he wasn't romantic himself he did romantic things for Khushi, which was really thoughtful.

MSK was the quietest of them all and him and Geet always had like 10 minute long eye-locks, which many found romantic, but to me it got a bit annoying. He was probably also the most trustful one, i.e. he found it easier to trust people. He was generally nicer in his day-to-day life.

Asad is the most respectful one and religious one. He is also the most judgmental one. Yes he slapped Zoya, but apart from that one incident, he is probably the most calm one on a day-to-day basis. I also find him to be extremely sweet, whether it's taking care of his mum, rescuing his younger brother Ayaan, or proposing to Zoya, he is always there for others.😳

Looks like 4lions really look into the names:
Arnav means 'ocean.'
Asad means 'lion.'
Maan means 'Respect.'

Khushi means 'Happiness.'
Geet means 'Melody.'
Zoya means 'Alive.'

Well said and I think the characters on the surface are similiar, but their depth is very different. Maan is all about respect and self-pride like his name suggests. While Asad is more about defending his family especially DIlshad and Najma like a lion does.

I think even the girls' names are well picked out. Especially Zoya since she's very zinda dil.

Other than the whole MB story-style and emotionally closed man changed by the light and love of his lady...story and characters are very different.
