Loved loved the post.You have put it across beautifully,agree with each and every word.Asad is a very well etched out character who has stayed true to himself always,whatever be the circumstances.I hope it remains that way .As you said,though her intentions are good,Zoya brought it upon herself .Asad is blind to everything else in matters concerning his ammi.I am all ready for the angsty track ahead,this is a much needed phase in their relationship.

I love both the characters but yes Asad is more firm and clear about what his principles are, about his decisions and life. Asad is a really strong mature character and not slow either, he has realized his love but chooses to stay away for her, and even though he might have to lose her if he does not do the engagement he won't let go his principles which is a very strong point about his character.

We might say Asad is harsh with her, bu she has seldom meddled into those areas of his life which are extremely sensitive. When everything is fine and both the families at war are peacefully living in their own ways a deed done by Zoya even with good intention sparks so much tension and causes his mother to be insulted, who would not get angry. Zoya has not seen the pain, troubles and insults the Khan family has gone through because of the other family, so its obvious for Asad to be upset over the interference. Asad may have been harsh or still is with her, but by and by he has accepted her as she is. He is now more sensitive to her emotions and pain. Zoya needs to be as sensitive with him, especially since she very well knows his nature.
