FF: Broken Promises
Prologue
"Probably there's some kind of a mistake." Zoya sobbed.
"No, mam. It's his car, no doubt about that. The number plate matches." The inspector said before walking away.
It can't happen. Asad can't die, he can't leave me alone. Her knees gave away and she fell in the cold, hard marble weeping bitterly. Ayaan, Dilshad and Nazma rushed to her aid.
"He can't leave me, can he? He promised me never to leave my side. He promised me...My Asad can't be dead."
Dilshad and Nazma too cried along with her while tears threatened to flow from Ayaan's eye.
Dilshad hugged her. "Zoya, please try to understand."
"Theres nothing to understand. He's not dead, the police haven't yet found his...corpse, then how can they declare him dead."
"Bhabisha, calm down. It's not good for your health. The doctor has asked you to take special care of yourself and if bhaijaan was here, he would never let you cry." Ayaan said
"But that's the problem. He's not here." she said her eyes filled with
