Agree with your point, it is pride and ego but I guess more than that it is their failure to come to terms with what this feeling is. Why he doesn't want her to leave? And for her, its like why can't he tell me directly that he doesn't want me to leave? They both need to first admit to themselves what is it, only then they can say it out aloud to the other. I think more than Asad, its Zoe who really should ponder over why she is willing to stay back if Mr Khan stops her? And after getting the document from him, her immediate reaction was "main kahin nahi jaa rahi hu," She was just waiting for a slight hint from his side and once she got that, she is more than happy to stay back. For her, the question is' kyu farak pad raha hai' but she doesn't go beyond it to find an answer. And their inability to communicate with each other makes the situation even worse. I really have no clue how Asad is going to stop her on Mon now since Tanveer has created an MU too. They both are already so clueless, confused and complicated and to top it, now there is an MU 😆

Yea they both need to admit to themselves why they are feeling this way about each other... Agree .. Zo doesn't go beyond Kyun farak padtha hain..
And Asad knows why farak padh raha hain.. but still doesn't want to go beyond that...
their inability to communicate is also because they both doesn't want to go beyond that boundary they both has established for themselves.. because if they cross that boundary, they have to give answers to themselves and to each other as well.
i wish , on Monday, unable to hold himself any longer, as shown on Promo, Asad blurts out , "plz don't go Zoya".. that will be epic to see.. 😃
