Agree Dear.. Human beings are as such complicated and Asad is one specimen. he has just learnt to love and he has scars from his childhood which made him in to a man of very different ideologies and opinions about life and love...all this is preventing him from accepting and coming to terms with his feeling towards Zoya.. he never expected to fall in love especially with a girl like Zo.. so he needs time to accept all this.. first he has to accept it himself then only he can express it to Zo.. but he will get there... remember ROME is not built on one day..😃

Basically Asad is not confused as such.. he is just having some difficulty in accepting his feelings because he is not yet ready to face that stage of love.. But Zoya is confused.. she does not realize that she loves Asad and this along with Asad's behavior is making her confused...😃

very well written and good analysis👏.I agree with you.Asad is afraid of being open and complicated and Zoya is very open but innocent in her thinking.They have to find in between path to confess each other's feelings.

Yea Asad is afraid and afraid of trusting his own self as well.. but he has come a long way and he still needs time.. he is still emotionally not in a stage where he can admit his love to Zoya openly and love Zoya and accept Zoya's love in return as well.
And like you you said Zoya even though she is open about her feelings, she has not actually realized how much in love she is with Asad.. if Zoya realizes it then also things might be more easy between them.
Zoya has to realize her own feelings and Asad has to give some signal to her about his feelings.. Then i am sure Zoya will go all the way to make Asad face things and come out of his shell.. Zo won't give up so easily..😃
