Salam all :) It's been sooo long I've updated this one and I'm sorry for the extreme delay :(
This part is dedicated to Juhi (angel_juhi04) and Tehseen (sweet_tehs) for asking me continusly about its update. Love you guys!🤗
The story started from Zoya being thrown out of the Siddiqui mansion as well as Ayaan divorcing her after being accused of having an extra-marital affair with Asad. As Nikhat informed Asad about this he set out to find her and found her lying on the road. She's now staying with them again, yet keeping a distance from Asad.
Here's the next part now :)

Asad sat on his bed, his laptop lying on his lap, as his fingers worked on it. He kept typing until he heard a soft knock on his door. He looked up and saw Zoya entering the door. Pleasantly surprised, he kept the laptop away and motioned her to enter as he looked at her amused.
"Your coffee, Mr. Khan. Phupi asked me to give you" She spoke softly, handing the mug to him as he took it.
"Thanks" He smiled, "By the way, you never bothered to knock before, Ms. Farooqui?" He asked in a teasing tone, yet keeping his expressions taut.
She looked away, "I was a different person then" She apologized with a sad smile.
Asad was stumped. Who was this girl? He expected some argument but she was apologizing here. This was not the Zoya he knows and he badly wanted the old Zoya back. "Mr. Khan?" Zoya 's soft voice brought him out of his thoughts. He looked up at her.
"Thank you" She spoke
"For what?" Asad asked, confused.
"For yesterday" She said, looking down at the floor. He remembered how he consoled a crying Zoya, she fell asleep in his arms and how he carried her to her room. He smiled, every moment spent with her was etched in his heart.
"There's no need for that Zoya. Have you had your medicines?" He asked suddenly remembering.
"Yes, I did. Phupi made me" She replied. He nodded.
"It's late. You should go to sleep" Asad said. She nodded. "Good night!" They wished each other and she left The room, leaving him smiling at her retreating back.
His eyes fell outside the window as dropletd of water crashed on the ground musically. He smiled and walked upto the window, smiling at the pitter patter of the rain. If it was a couple of months before, he would've never admired rain like that but now, this pitter patter of rain had memories attached to it. Beautiful memories, spent with the love of his life, Zoya.
He relived at the memories of the farmhouse came rushing to him, their indirect unique confession under the influence of bhaang.
Things were so different back then yet they were beautiful. Her innocent chatter and his stern-loving looks. It was different now, totally different from before. The most important and sad change being Zoya herself and somehow somewhere he knew, he knew he was indirectly the reason of her pain. If he had stopped her this wouldn't have happened.
He remembered how the next morning he had blasted upon her, blaming her for making him trap. What a fool he had been, be had always judged her wrong. He had scolded her and left her there in anger. Later, when she herself had managed to come home, bruised because of the bus she was travelling crashed, he felt his insides churning with guilt. He made her a cup of her favorite milky coffee and apologized to her and she forgave him.
Things had changed between them, both if them remembered the night but none came forward to confess their feelings. Asad knew his growing feelings For Zoya won't be good for her. He was not she deserved, she deserved better and not some broken man who's hurt her numerous times. He couldn't risk her happiness for his. She deserved the best and he'll make sure she gets one.
When Asad couldn't take it anymore, he started avoiding her and even scolding her on baseless issues. He knew he was hurting her again and again but he also knew he has to push her away for her betterment.
Unexpectedly, one day, Mr. Gaffur Sidduiqui landed at their house, claiming Zoya to be his daughter. Everyone was stunned, including Zoya. After all doubts were cleared, he wanted to take his daughter home and Asad could see the apprehension in her eyes. He angrily ordered her to leave their house premises right away. Unable to see the shock and hurt in her eyes due to him, he left the scene to break down privately. Next morning, he was told that Zoya had left and he ignored the pain in hia chest hearing that. After that, their house became 'normal' since Asad's tornado had departed.
Ayaan usually came to meet him and he would tell him how close he and Zoya were growing, and that he had started to like her. Then one day, he came and told him that he is planning to propose her. Asad was shocked, his heart started to pain at the thought of Zoya marrying his brother but he refrained. He knew Ayaan would be better for her, atleast than himself.
He received a call from Zoya the next day where she informed him of Ayaan's proposal. He felt his heart shatter and with tears in his eyes he asker her why she was informing him and she should go ahead with this relationship if she wants, sounding as if it didn't effect him at all. When she asked if it really didn't matter to him, he, placing a rock on his heart, he replied negatively and rudely advised her to do whatever she wanted and slammed the phone shut, as he let his tears flow down endlessly after that.
His heart broke further when he heard Zoya had agreed to marry him. While Ayaan rejoiced, he brooded. The day they got married was the day he experienced the worst pain, watching her say 'Qubool hai' to someone else shattered his insides and he was barely able to stand due to the pain in his chest.
Tears moistened his eyes while he stood there as old memories washed his mind. If only he had stopped being emotionally challenged and stopped her and told her what he felt. Then she wouldn't have been in this state. But he was not going to repeat the blunder be made, he was going to protect her and sheild her against all pain and if he couldn't he'd stand by her side, always.
Promising to himself, he laid down on the bed, slipping into a deep sleep.

"Najma, stop fretting over me. I'm fine" Zoya said, annoyed while Najma chuckled at her plight.
"Whatever, but you have to drink it" She said handing a glass of warm milk to her.
"Or else?" Zoya narrowed her eyes.
"Else Ammi will tell you" Najma retorted and Zoya gave up, "Ok fine!"
Exasperated, she took the glass from her hand and gulped it down making a disgusted face at which Najma laughed getting a glare from Zoya.
"Now come on, Sleep!" Najma made her lie down and covered her with the duvet. She smiled, wishing her night and left the room.
Zoya kept lying on the bed, her mind flowing with the thoughts of the recent events. She had never thought that her life would be this different in a matter of few hours. It had been a week to the incident where Ayaan had humiliated her by accusing her of an extramarital affair with his brother, divorcing her on her face, slapped her and kicked her out of the house. She couldn't believe Ayaan could think like that. He had always loved her unconditionally, even though she never loved him, he gave her all the time she needed and never complained.
It was true she could never love Ayaan the way she had feelings for Asad, but she did develop an affection for Ayaan and it did hurt her to see his lack of trust in her. Both brothers are the same, even Mr. Khan never trusted me. She thought and sighed.
Mr. Khan. The name itself made Zoya's heart flutter. She had loved him, and he had let her go. That thought made her heart bitter. Realization had struck her after they had returned from the farmhouse, she had been on ninth cloud when she realized her love for Mr. Khan.
But the sad part was, she has realized he doesn't reciprocates her feelings. They way he constantly taunted her, scolded her on baseless issues made sure of it. That broke her heart and she decided to never come in his way again.
The day Mr. Sidduiqui landed at their house, claiming to be her father, she became double-minded. Half of it was jumping in joy that she had finally git her father back but half of it was apprehensive and scared of Asad's reaction. She knew he hated this man to the core and knowing that she was related to him, he will hate her too.
And that's what happened, he rudely shook her off and orderer her to leave his house at the very moment, given that he couldn't stand her presence. Her heart shattered into pieces at his rejection but what she failed to notice was the pain he had hidden behind his mask of indifference.
With a broken heart, she left the house to her own house. But she couldn't call it her own because she never felt so, She never felt connected to any of them. Pleasantly surprised to see her 'dost' there as well as Ayaan, she relaxed a bit. She even bonded with Asad's sisters especially Nikhat, she had become like her sister in a short span of time.
The only ones who were not happy withher arrival were her stepmother Razia and her half sister Humera, and she could see it. As much as she tried befriending Humera she would rudely snap at her and leave the place. But she had noticed Ayaan staring at her more than usual, they were great friends and Zoya never felt anything more. Out of the blue, one day, he came and proposed her, and she was bewildered ending up asking for time and he agreed.
She remembered how after an hour of debating with herself, she had called up Mr. Khan hoping he might confess his feelings but she was left heartbroken again at his remarks when he said that it didn't matter to him at all.
If it really doesn't matter to You Mr. Khan then so be it. Thinking such, she supressed all ber feelings for Asad and accepted Ayaan's proposal, making him the happiest person.
But she had no idea that Ayaan would turn out same as His brother. Early months of their marriage were smooth and Ayaan even gave her time to adjust while she was busy forgetting Asad and their moments spent together, just to no remain unfaithful to her husband.
And the inevitable happened, Humera had shown Ayaan some fake pictures of Asad and Zoya in compromising situations which had Ayaan outraged. When the pictures were thrown at her face while he accused her, she could easily recognize that they were edited pictures but he didn't let her explain at all. Zoya never thought Ayaan would follow Asad's steps and would never bother to listen her side of story, instead would divorce her on her face and threw her out.
Only if you had never let me go, Mr. Khan.
She had hardened her heart now. Against Asad, against Ayaan, against her father who didn't listen to her once and had claimed to love her and be proud of her. It was her fault only, she let them hurt her and dominate her always, then why blame them?
Mr. Khan and Ayaan are closed chapters of my life now. I will never forgive neither of them ever.
She wiped her tears determinedly as she promised herself.

Next morning, Zoya was helping Najma and Dilshad in the kitchen, chatting and laughing while Asad was getting ready in his room, when the doorbell rang.
"I'll get it" Zoya said chirpily and went to open it. As she opened the door, she stood shocked to see Ayaan standing at the doorstep. She froze seeing him, she was seeing him after a month almost.
"Ayaan?" She spoke, looking at him.
