Updating after quite a long time.. :P
It's a short one.. anyway.. tell me how it is :P

Chapter 11

Asad quickly rushed to Zoya's room to find her in deep sleep. Looking at her sleeping so peacefully, lying on her back and arms wrapped around her pillow, he didn't have the courage to wake her up. She was looking just like an angel.

After deep thoughts, Asad decided to leave her at the hospital. As soon as he finished his negotiations with some doctors of the hospital regarding Zoya's stay and two nurses being at her bedside, he drove back home with the hope of meeting up with Tanveer on the road. But,alas!

It was nearly 2 am but she still wasn't in view.

The only sources of light on the road were the fog lights of Asad's car and some side lamp posts which were not really of great use to Asad.

After useless minutes of searching around the locality, Asad got tired and called her mother.

Asad: "Ammi?"

Dilshad: "Asad Beta!! Why did you not come home yet? Did you find Tanveer?"

Asad sadly replied: "No,.. Ammi...not yet.. I'm..I'm still looking for ..her.. but.. she's nowhere to be found.. "

Dilshad: "Ya Allah, I hope she is fine wherever she is..."

Asad: "Ammi, if she ever comes home, please let me know..I will call up the police station and report Tanveer's disappearance. I'm sure she must be loitering somewhere around in Bhopal. Don't worry Ammi. Everything will be fine. Just have faith in God. Okay Ammi, I'll hang up now. I need to get back to the hospital.. "

Dilshad: "Okay beta, take care of Zoya and call me after you meet her."

Asad: "Ya Ammi.. I will..Allah Hafiz"

3:30 am [Very early morning]

On the way, Asad wasn't really bothered about Tanveer's disappearance. His mind was free from worries for her. He was only concerned about his Zoya.

He badly wanted to meet Zoya, give her a tight hug and talk to her..

At the hospital

Asad: "Doc! Where is Zoyaaa?? She...she is not in her room! Where are the nurses? Where are they? I had told them to look after Zoya.. Where is my Zoya?"

"Relax Mr.Khan. I'll call them and inquire about Miss.Farooqui. I'm sure she must be around. May be she has gone for a walk.. Wait", Doctor Sharma,worried, replied while dialing some number on his sophisticated phone.

Asad clenched his teeth in anger and moved out of the hospital corridor, his head going left,right left,right, on the lookout for Zoya.

Soon, a call came from his Ammi.

Before picking up his phone, Asad decided that his Ammi shouldn't know about Zoya's disappearance as Tanveer missing was already a shock for her.

He knew it. He knew that his Ammi wouldn't be able to bear the shock if she comes to know about the second incident.

Asad: "Ammi.."

Dilshad: "Asad beta, any news about Tanveer? and Zoya? Has she recovered?"

A complete silence followed, which didn't please Dilshad at all. Her heart started to pound from anxiety.

Dilshad: "Asad? Reply me!"

He had to lie to his Ammi.. He had to.. he had no other choice.. It was for her own good after all.

Closing his eyes tightly, Asad murmured under his breath before replying his Ammi, "Forgive me, Ammi. I don't intend to hurt your feelings but I'll have to lie to you.. for the first time ...in my life... forgive me.."

And then followed his answer.

"Ammi, Zo...Zoya.. She's no... I mean.. she's..doing... fine.. she is slee..sleeping.. don't worry abou...about her.. okay..and Tanveer... I still haven't got any news about her..Woh... Ammi.. I..I.."

Dilshad: "Still no news of her! Poor Tanveer!.. but I'm glad that Zoya is doing fine..I hope that Tanveer gets back home safe and sound."

Asad hesitatingly replied: "Haan Ammi.. woh.. I.. I'm.."

Dilshad: "You what Beta? I have been noticing that you stammer alot before replying me. What's the matter? You okay?"

Asad: "I'm okay Ammi. It's just that I need your permission for something."

Dilshad, smiling : "My permission?? For what? You must be joking,right? Since when did you start asking for my permission, Asad beta?"

Asad: "Zoya and I are going to stay in a nearby a hotel for tonight. She is not in a state to travel, that's why.[He lied] So, can we proceed?"

Dilshad: "I can't believe that you're asking my permission for this! Of course you can, Asad! But take care of Zoya. Make her take her medicines on time and don't let her go outside without a pullover or jacket on. She might catch a cold. A hot cup of tea would do her some good. Make some for her, I'm sure she'll appreciate your effort. Cheer her up, Asad! Don't leave her alone even for a minute. I'll hang up now. I haven't slept yet and yawning is becoming irritating now. Allah Hafiz!

Asad: "Yes, Ammi. I wi..will..Stop worrying about all these things now and go to sleep! I'm sure Tanveer will be found very soon.. Take care of yourself and Tamatar. Allah Hafiz"

Lying to his Ammi was like the worst thing he has done in his life. He would prefer to die than to lie to his Ammi, the most important person in his life. But circumstances had urged him to do so and he felt very guilty after doing so.

Now, he had to look for both Zoya and Tanveer...

But where should I start?...
