Chapter 10
On reaching the hospital, Asad was surprised to find that the place was crowded. It looked like some accident had taken place and many people were injured.
As his eyes searched around for a doctor, he got attracted by a familiar figure. Despite facing the back of the woman, he could tell that the latter was a known face. But WHO?
Curious, he approached the veiled woman, extended his arm and called out to her:"Hey!? Do I know you?"
No response.
Confused, Asad thought to himself: "What a strange woman. She could have atleast turned around and replied me. Why do I feel that she is Tanu?.. No..No.. I must be making things up. Let me get back to Zoya. She must be in pain."

"Where is the doctor now?", Asad worriedly murmured under his breath as he wandered around the hospital with an unconscious Zoya in his arms.
"Doctor! Doctor!", Asad shouted in a high pitched voice.
Hearing his calls, a short, fragile-looking nurse came rushing to him.
Head bowed down, she said:"Sir, All the doctors are currently busy handling the badly injured patients from the blast. I'm sorry but I'm afraid you'll have to take her to another hospital."
Hearing this, Asad started to fume with anger.
"What!? Are you serious!!? Can't you see how critical her state is in right now? Her head has just hit a rock and she isn't even breathing properly. And you want me to take her to another hospital? Don't you have brain? I'm going to sue this hospital! How can you refuse to treat her? How? This is not done!!", Asad spat out in anger.
Scared by his threats, the nurse replied: "Sir..Sir.. I'll arrange for a.. room.. wait a minute please.. I'll go and... get the doctor.."
The nurse soon came back, followed by the Doctor Varma.
"Mr. Ahmed Khan! How did this happen?", the surprised doctor asked as he sat next to the patient.
"Nurse! Please bring a stretcher bed..quick!", the doctor ordered.
"Yes Doc!", came the reply.
"No! No need for this! I'll.. I'll carry her till the room!", Asad interrupted.
"Are you sure Mr.Khan?", asked the doctor.
"Yeah.."
"Okay, follow me!", the doctor replied.

Standing from a distance, Asad watched through the transparent glass door,as Zoya flinched in pain when the doctor injected a thin needle into her arm.
"Ouch!" and Zoya soon dozed off to sleep.
Injections were Zoya's worst nightmares but now, she needed to get used to them. She had to get injected thrice a day, which would not be easy for her to bear but she had to tolerate them for her own well being and partly because of Asad, who would never let her miss her dose despite being aware of Zoya's fear of injections. He cared for her more than anyone else..

After giving Zoya the proper treatment, the doctor marched out of the room.
"Doctor! How is Zoya doing? Will she be fine?", Asad hastily demanded for an answer from the doctor.
"Mr.Khan, she'll be just fine. Don't worry. She is sleeping because of the injection that I've given her but you can take her home when she wakes up. Okay. Let her rest for now."
"But what about her wounds? Please do something about that. I don't want to see her in pain."
"The wounds were a bit deep. But there's nothing to worry about. We have already cleaned it and a nurse will be sent along with her to change her dressing twice a day. Okay Mr.Khan. I'll take your leave now. I've patients waiting."
"Thank you very much Doctor!",Asad replied.

Waiting for Zoya to regain consciousness was the hardest thing for Asad as he was eager to see her bubbly and cheerful nature back.
In the meantime, the thought of calling her Ammi came to him.
"Ammi! She MUST be worried! I..I need to call her up!", Asad thought to himself.

"Hello, Ammi? It's me Asad!"
Dilshad: "Asad Beta! Where are you? Did you find Zoya? Why didn't you call me up? I have been trying to reach you since a long time but you were not picking up your phone."
Asad: "Ammi, calm down. Zoya.. Yes.. I found her... but.. "
Dilshad [worried] : "But whattt? Tell me!"
Asad: " Woh.. Ammi...Zoya.."
Dilshad: "What happened to Zoya!!?"
Asad: "She is badly injured. And... I'm at the hospital... right now.."
Dilshad [crying] : "Asad!! What are you saying!!? Zoya!!? She.. she.. is badly injured!? WHAT! but HOW?"
Asad [trying to refrain himself from crying] :"I...I..don't know.. how she fell down.. from the mountain..and got injured in the head.. I'm really sorry Ammi. I...I..couldn't find her and save her in time.. but.. the Doctor said that her condition is stable.. When she wakes up, I'll take her home. Don't worry. Also tell Najma not to stress herself out, she has exams to attend tomorrow. Okay Ammi, I'll hang up now. Allah Hafiz"
Dilshad: "Okay Beta.. I'll just pray that she comes home fit and fine. Take good care of her! Allah Hafiz."
And they cut the call..

"Dring! Dring!", Asad's phone rang.
"Ammi! Why is she calling me again.. Didn't I assure her not to worry.." Asad thought to himself, picking up the call.
Asad: "Yes Ammi. What's the matter?"
Dilshad: "Asad! Tanveer is missing!"
Asad: "What!? Is she not at home?"
Dilshad: "No, she isn't. I've searched for her everywhere but she is nowhere to be seen. Was she not with you?"
Asad: "Ammi, what are you saying? She was not with me. She was at home only when I left, nah?"
Dilshad: "I can't remember,Asad! Now, what should we do?"
Asad [reassuring his Ammi] : "Don't worry Ammi.I'll be home in a while."
Dilshad: "But, what about Zoya? Who will look after her if you come home?"
Asad: "I'll take her along!"
Dilshad: "Okay Beta, be quick!"

Can someone help me with this?
I have used Windows Movie Maker to make a VM.
I saved the project and have like 5 copies of it.
But when I open one of them, it says "Failed to load ffmpeg.dll"
All the copies of the projects are showing the same error.
What should I do? And it seems like the videos I've used in the VM have disappeared. 😕
