Include me in too. I am from India, but live in UK and I am a Muslim! I wear a hijab and fully covered western clothes. My grandfather disapproves of my clothing so when I come to India and go to meet him I have to wear Indian clothing.

@Mayan6: same with me dear.. whenever I go back to my country... I wear traditional clothes! 😳
@gapgirl: right dear.. and they just know to talk about others and just like Dilshaad.. not about their self! 😡
@ujala26: right.. if you were a short kamiz.. then problem and if you wear a long kamiz then too!

Just covering up is not enough. As per Islam woman's body need not just be covered but the the covering itself should not reveal the proper shape of the body. When women are in their homes they can wear whatever they want, but the covering or hijab is meant only if they meet strangers or as we call Na-Mahram. Other than they women can continue to wear jeans, churidars, etc, but in no case skirts. Yes sari is the worst dress, an unsewn one, and in Islam it is strictly forbidden to wear unsewn garment, except at Hajj.

Okbut Zoya's curves weren't visible! 😳

agrree with you,
people judge us by the way we dress, as its mostly jeans, they view jeans as an object of disgust.
while many of them enjoy eyeing girls in jeans and keep their girls in Abayas fully covered. society at its hypocrite best

i agree wid ur point dear...
i don't know why people judge the person wid the way of clothing...
means if a girl wearing a jeans wid top she must hav no values or respect for her culture...
then again if a girl wearing salwar kameej thn people think she must be cow like innocent...kahi be kaise be treat kro kuch nahi khegi...
i'm just sick wid such thinking...
