word is not forbidden dear .. it can b used as reference as long as the whole discussion does not go in that direction that after a point we forget we r actually discussing QH show .. 😳

Slap is just a part of the ongoing serial and not the serial ,... this is what we mean ... Slap fiasco which was shown is not the main track but a part of the track but the bigger issue in the serial is something else .. right ? ... if the whole show was about how Asad manhandling Zoya , u guys could argue on "if the show itself is on domestic violence , why cant we discuss it in detail" .. but thats not the case ...

There was a show on life ok named saubhagyavati bhava whose main concept itself was domestic violence and so the mods there had given full freedom to discuss the issue .. but is QH on domestic violence ? nope .. its concept is totally different , thats the reason why we cant allow every single topic on same issue ... there r separate forums made for this purpose , so that every forum discusses based on the concept of that particular show or else there would not hv been so many separate forums for discussion ..

What happened in past where u guys feel topics were closed in unfair manner , for that dev team already apologised and gave u guys the freedom to open slap topics again ... all we expect from u guys is to not go overboard with the discussion so that things dont turn ugly again .. I already said if u had to give a slight reference of domestic violence to put up your argument ,its fine but just dont go overboard with it that after a point it does not really look like QH show discussion at all ..

About repitative topics , there is a report button .. if u feel too many topics opened on same thing , u can always report and wait at least 24 hrs for mods to come and close those topics ..

Thanks a lot for such an amazing clarification.
I still wonder why the slap topic is allowed to discuss again.
You know it will again bring controversies and controversies which have started in this very thread itself.
Slap is a domestic violence if a woman is slapped and if men are slapped ,they deserve it.Wow!!
What an ideal psychology!

I am really surprised by the way people have stuck on a topic like forever.I wonder if hanging on a topic like slap and turning it into physical abuse and domestic violence is just a simple way to point out a loophole in the show's excellence.

A man slapped a woman and it became a huge fault for promoting domestic violence and what about the murder that a woman committed in the serial. Is that no form of violence at all?
It's a crime.
I think I should stick upon Razia's crime and cry out aloud saying that the show is encouraging murders now.

I'm sorry if I offend anyone but seriously there is a limit of patience
.
Asad's slap scene got over and even the viewers have slowly started forgetting it but then again everyone is back to square one.
God save this forum!!

I'm really unhappy by the way DT members have handled this whole issue.
If the topic could be allowed to be discussed now,the discussions should have never ceased.A simple warning regarding the norms that you have mentioned could have worked out.But now after closing so many threads regarding slap and then again giving the permission to restart an old topic is making me confused.

I really want to know that by making Asad's slap a huge issue, can things actually change in real world?QH is fiction.I wonder why reel life affects a person's attitude and behaviour so much.I don't think so that I can ever feel romantic if a guy slaps me and I also won't feel that I was treated unfairly(because I was slapped) if because of me a man's mother fights between life and death.

I'm really disappointed by the new decision.I am never against a debate on any topic but there is a fine line between positive and negative criticism.Sometimes one never knows when criticism turns into bashing.

I only want truce on the forum. It was really frustrating to see everyone arguing with each other over good for nothing issues.

Thanks anyways for handling the heated arguments here so well.
I hope the decision that is taken may not disturb the decorum of the forum. With much difficulty, things had started getting to normal.I hope bashing and personal attacks may not restart again.

Guys, like I mentioned before, we were not trying to take your freedom of speech away, and you guys have all right to discuss/talk about any given matter but I guess we couldn't really communicate on what things can be talked about or cannot be talked about.

We tried mentioning that any discussion in the context of QH is allowed. So I apologize again to those who felt that their views were neglected. That wasn't what we were aiming at. We just wanted to say that we can discuss anything like Jyoti said if it's applicable to the main premise of the show.😳

@crazy4KASH_AR : Issue is not just the slap but mainly the freedom that few members felt was taken away suddenly after the slap chapter ..so we wanted to clarify that members r free to discuss any issues related to the show whether its slap or any such track which is part of QH as long as discussion remains limited to the main premise of the show 😳

Dear Jyoti,

Really appreciate your efforts to restore a semblance of balance. I hope this will make for an open and inclusive forum. After all it is the show that is generating all sorts of conversations. And that's why we're here.

Glad to have you here!

Mira

Thanks for the reply darling.
I know that the slap is not the main issue here,Jyoti.
All I wonder is that why a topic was first not allowed to discuss and then again it is permitted to become the talk of the town once again.
Regarding the freedom of speech issues,I would like to state that we all have full right to debate over any issue but if things start getting personal and bashing starts,it's better to close the topic before hell breaks everywhere.
Anyways, thanks again for clarifying things to me...

I completely agree with you Shifali.
QH didn't show domestic violence ,etc like women abuse issues,so it's better that we may not bring it here...

On Domestic Violence: Thanks for the clarification. 😊 That sounds reasonable. Some of us here do believe it was. Some of us don't. But it would be unfair to stop discussions just to appease those who don't.
