Glad to see so many people write in support! 👏

well said.quite grateful about the letter.because after all abuse of any form whether physically or mentally will always be unforgettable in a long run.there is a vast difference between fiction and reality.though qh is far from fiction ,the serial should also be sensitive about the issues they show.i know that qh is quite sensitive about these issues.but there are some things that should have been more highlighted.

Btw, I love all your posts... They're hilarious! The recent one on "would you fall for Asad in real life?" highlights exactly what Laila pointed out... There are actually people who are ok with an Asad in their lives... Talk about impressionable folks being influenced.

Scary and a cause for worry. 😭

*Fans face from the flattery* Please stop before I play the song 'Mitwa' for myself. 😆 That post is actually pretty old but I just recently remembered that I forgot to reply to some comments. 🤣

If you enjoy my posts, I'm sure you will enjoy my most recent one. But during the time when I made that post, Asad had simply depicted the role of an angry, arrogant and judgmental persona. But since recently we have been shown completely different shades, it makes my post look pretty damn bad. = \

Thanks Kiran! Glad you understand the TM's viewpoint.

Lol!

Yeah, I saw the post is nearly two months old but what worried me is the recent responses! 😕 For me, QH was divided into two eras... BM (before Mangalpur) and PM (post Mangalpur) now it's BS and PS... 😉 NO points for guessing the S.

Anyway, what I meant was.. I liked Asad too, until that day, and even after, I hoped he he would apologise for what he did, without waiting for Dilshad's clarification. That may have saved him in my eyes. But I was sorely disappointed that he only apologised after his mother explained. And even then, it didn't come across as whole hearted.

The one big myth that these shows propagate is how women manage to change men with their love, and that such a friggin myth! Hope you address this sometime in your posts! 😊

people are voicing opinions so that conflict appears bet their hearts and minds
when there is conflict their mind starts to disagree with these issues
many who are fantasizing are teens so when they enter into relationships
they will start to think
so people who are voicing their opinions have succeeded to an extent
thus creating knowledge over these issues

people here are not protesting to stop but educating young minds

Great job Laila!Hopefully our efforts wont go in vain.I am really overwhelmed by the tremondous support we are getting as to when I first came on here and took a stand.I was on one side forum of the and the majority were on the other. Then you came along Laila and took a stand with me against the violence which was shown on the 4th of Feb with me.Your support gave me the courage to go on and carry on voicing my opinions and slowly but surely more people started to show us their support in taking a stand with us..so we are not alone,we may be the minority here now, but hopefully in taking this one step further in writing this letter to th BCCC will pave the way for many more to voice their opinions just like we did...so that most importantly the PH can stop endorsments and promotion of such issues on shouldering the bandwagon and using it to their advantage for the sake of TRP'S and manipulation of any kind to the audience/reader's especially on a paltform such as this...India Forums, should stop taking it's course. The channels in all, should start taking careful consideration into what they air ,as romanticising violence of any form as love can have drastic effects on impressionable minds regardless of age, gender and the sentiments of those who have been through such heinous crimes should be of utmost concern as when such victims are exposed to their past being reflected in a show it leads to mirroring their experiences to send off triggers...(psychological effect on the brain)...they are forced to go through the dreadeded experiences again. This cruelty and insensitvity on Indian TV needs to stop and shouldd be addresssed in the approprate manner.
Well done and thanks to everyone again for showing your support...Priyanka,Aaliya,Mira,Adeeti,JoJo,Riya,Delena,etc,etc... and many more and special thanks to Laila off course for taking it this one step further in giving us an opportunity for our voices to be heard and a biig shout out to Prianka for being such an inspiration in getting ,that inner voice out of me to express openly on this forum without being afraid what the inpressionable minds make of me... as long as I firmly stand up for what I believe..Thankyou Pri!🤗.
I am so priviledged to have met all you wonderful people on here and hope to be friends for a very long time to come!🤗Dnt ever forget me guys.!...or else...lol..

Well done! I am genuinely happy that action was taken against this issue, and what actually happens, or does not happen, after they see the letter is secondary. The people who contributed should be very proud. I hope the PHs, of not just this show, but all shows on Indian TV, stop making rash decisions while shooting scenes, regarding such serious issues!

I m not against your post but there have been a lot of things on tv in which they have shown like a guy trying to kill his best friend , a guy not treating his wife properly or a guy trying to rape n yu r worried about a slap , to be frank now a days no 1 learns anything from serials ,audience r intelligent n yeh ajeeb baat hai tv pe japaad maar dia so post banti hai to stop it aur jab raaste pe samne koi ladka chede kisi ladki then nobody even comes for help ...

and not the saas bahu show viewers
and many will not take such abuse
