@Rockerchick yeah ofcourse . I did not ask her to stop or remove her protests or posts but I think not everything can be branded as crime against woman.I just voiced my opinion regarding that particular scene. I think people saw it, hated it and moved on though I would like to maintain that it's not meant as CRIME AGAINST WOMEN .

Guys! don't be worried by this letter, it won't make the show shut down, they have just voiced their opinion and done what they have felt right. Show won't shut down for this sake, at the max PH may be warned or asked for a explanation and being the creatives of a show or many shows they should be able to defend their action and they will do it, so don't worry. Just chill, and watch the show happily😊 don't panic, as long as a show fetches TRPs no channel is ready to shut it down, don't worry and don't start any kind of fights.

Nobody wants the show to be shut down, that is not Laila's intent I'm sure, it is definitely not mine.
As viewers, we have a right to voice our views about something and how it's being perceived.

And the channel is equally to blame. Nothing can be aired without their consent. If I understand the process correctly, the BCCC will ask the channel programming head to respond.

Each of us is entitled to an opinion. And the response will again differ depending on our views. You have every right to disagree just as Laila has every right to report it.

Well it's not crime against women... It's romanticisation of violence that's being addressed here if I'm not mistaken.

Absoulately right karan.
Nobody consider hindi gec as a medium for moral education.

There has many people who become online warrior about reel life problem.
But real life problem is very difficult and different than reel life.
As a university student i saw many students of my university were online warrior about reel life problem but when time to face a real problem they run away.

Its necessary to become active in real life than warrior of virtual world.

@bold My category 😆

I think the worry here is that instead of moving on people have embraced it as something romantic. And that it's sending out a wrong a message.

Regarding it being a crime against women, in the broader scope of things, people are talking about Asad hitting Zoya (like in SBS/TOI) and when a third person (who doesn't watch QH) sees it they see a guy hitting a girl and many people are often of the opinion that if it happens on television then it must be common enough - that is a wrong message sent.

I'll let Laila and the others respond to what she or a host of others who felt this way, do in real life. They're not just doing lip service to this issue, is all I will say for now.
