Its not that Zoya has no self respect. I think its because thats the way Zoya is. Selfless and forgiving. She dosent hold grudges and if someone apologises and really means it she'll forgive them.

And after today, I don't expect Asad to ever have any respect for her either...he treats her like shit, he apologizes and matter is done...this is how it's always been and will always be

You know I'm in two minds about this, on one hand I thought she forgave him too easily - I mean for god sake he slapped her, then threatened to kill her and topped of with a lovely comment on her mother (Sarcasm) so she really should have made him feel lower than dirt. However, when I think about Zoya's character I agree with some people when they say she doesn't have an ego that's why she forgave him and that does show how nice of a human being she is. What I was really disappointed in was the fact that she should have kept her self-respect and kept a distance from Asad, fine she forgave him (That shows she's a better person) but she should behave indifferently with him, which indirectly sends the message that 'sure I forgave you but all is definitely not forgotten and you could screw a goat if you think I'll let you treat me like a dirt again.'
