Zoya sure does deserve better...someone who loves and respects her and does not want to hurt her in any way. Today really opened up the door's for me in getting that glimpse of what could be, if Zoya was to be sucked into this web of anxietey and pain, physically and mentally.I really would not be able to bear seeing that happen to Zoya...dnt wnat her to lose her never say die spirit. She was portaryed a as strong young women, who is not afraid to take stand and that is the level I would like to see them maintain that with her character.

Every Woman deserve better. It's about relationships... its about love ...and its about marriage...its very important that the man in her life treats her well... but more importantly, it's about how she allows herself to be treated.

I find it very demeaning as a woman when a man takes a woman for granted and repeatedly abuse her existence, her self-respect, her motives. This is unacceptable for me as a woman to see that an innocent, pure hearted wonderful, vivacious woman like zoya is being repeatedly mistreated.

Is it really necessary to show zoya become this helpless and not fight for her honor or self- respect just because she feels compelled to stay in Asad's house because she is in search of her father? Is it completely necessary to break this girl into pieces that she has no identity and existence left?

Why is it so necessary to show that a man has the liberty to behave this way...it is a fact that he physically and mentally abuses her... he might have had a terrible childhood but that does not give him the right and liberty to treat another human being so miserably.

Yes Zoya does deserve the love of a man who respects her as an equal. Who loves her with all her little flaws. Who supports her. Who is emotionally available. Who celebrates her strength and capacity for life.

I don't see than man yet.

And if this man cannot be found, she should not settle for anything less!

Well said Pri!

Especially the highlighted part... What gives him the right to do that?

I find it sickening and scary that people are looking forward to romance between these two.

I now believe Asad was right when he told Dilshad he was Rashid's son and didn't trust himself to do the right thing by a woman.

Yup, I think she deserves better. She's no angel... But she's not a mean, nasty person either!

Hi Pri..I'm most upset today seeing this helpless Zoya. She really came across to me as women do when they suffer domestic violence and are made to feel that they have no choice but to succumb to the cruelty of circumstances. If only they had shown the same dermination and strength in Zoya when she said to the Almighty that she will find her dad and make sure she gets all the answers,to Asad that she is not going to accept his behaviour than I would have been able to relate more to why she has been reduced to this when her initial character sketch was one of strong women, who was not afraid to stand up and defend herself. They reallly are reducing her character to shreds and a sfor Asad there is no mending as far as I'm concerned if they are going to escalate the sadist in him any further. You know Pri...You known men who abuse women, have these thought process that they have some sort of right/possesion over these women in where they feel that they can take out on in the form of physical violence or verbal abuse as it lets off that built up adrenalin rush that they tend to get from time to time. When that rush or steam has let off, then they feel guilt...hence leading them to repent for alittle while till the next big rush.

I really dnt see how they will go about ammnding Asad's character anymore as the damage done is quite enough!
How they going to make a place in my heart with the ASya love story...I really dnt know!

I don't see Asad's character can be redeemed after today...it was really shocking to see him remark about her deceased mother...that was very cruel. I just cannot see a woman falling for a man after such an experience...
Abuse is a vicious cycle and Zoya is unfortunately in it ...this is the time to get out...usually men like Asad uses this power as a weapon to manipulate the situation...as you said...it's going to begin with an half hearted apology...possessive men even go through self destruction...and yes they begin to feel that they possess the woman ...as if they have the right to inflict pain whenever they want and then take it away at his own will.

thanks rhapsody ( sorry ...don't know your name)...I do appreciate your opinion and all the friend's opinions...I went back and rechecked the video and I was mistaken... I think I saw iit previously with a pre- notion...he wasn't sadistic...but was extremely cruel and hurtful...I edited my post.

shazie...I am concerned that her character has been reduced to a helpless one after been so independent and powerful.

Just pasting what I put in the slap thread:

Asad is steadily regressing day-by-day. He is now going past the point of no return. No one in their right minds and with a conscience will call him a gentleman, hero, knight-in-shining-armor and protector. He used to be that before. He is not anymore. Key-frickin'-word here. Tormentors cannot and can never be protectors and that is what he was today. Lagta hai ki uski parvarish mein khud kaafi kami reh gayi thhi. He is indirectly humiliating Dilshad's upbringing of him by being such a brutish asshole to Zoya.

Ok now this is becoming monotonous . How long do you want to keep talking about same stuffs over and over. If you feel Z deserves better then so be it. What's the point of making a thousand posts about it.
I personally think this is becoming too much. This is a show , a fiction. Just enjoy it and let others do the same please.
Btw same happened in another show not too long ago. The hero kept humiliating, torturing, threatening the girl and the girl just loved him and forgave him every time. Yes we complained but it was a super hot show and everyone enjoyed it including you. So what's changed now?
