Really? That's a a lot of pressure and a big myth...no woman can change a man unless he wants to change...and unless he wants to there is nothing she can do.

The movies and tv shows owe a responsibility towards the society. Lakhs of people watching the show are influenced by what is shown in it. That is why now IBF is strict about the content and the scroll is run over all shows. Its preposterous to say that avoid the content, just how many have that discretion? and what about those who watch it and get influenced by it? With the rise in crime and violence against women it is the cumulative responsibility of ALL to STOP it. The violence and abuse stems from deep rooted thought that its ok to hit a woman. But why? NO WOMAN is born to be hit or get abused by ANYONE no matter what. It all starts with small things-pushing, slapping, pulling hair, dragging and then it turns gruesome. WOmen themselves need to learn that they deserve to be treated with respect and deserve human rights. Women are HUMANS too. They are NOT born to bear pain and suffering and have equal right to happiness. The culture we breed today is what will be reflected back. Lets not allow violence and crime to breed anymore, more so when people are waking up and uniting in the their efforts to stop this.

Well said! Especially loved the highlighted parts. I know we can report it to IBF, and I think we should.

Thanks for your post. This needed to be said in a forum that is still debating the acceptability of violence against women.
