i got an idea..very late..after watching SBB.

Asad can redeem himself by giving a black cup of coffee to Zoya in the garden...sitting on bench ..watching stars and moon..with puppy eyes😈

Reviewing this incident today, I feel that disappointed Asad is not aware of his actions and that until he realizes Zoya was in the right, then he will change. The slap was uncalled for and unacceptable. It is simple as that. But expecting Asad to be aware is unlikely hence the necessary dialogue from his mother.

The apology has to come with no IFs ands or BUTS an out and out acknowledgement that he should NEVER have slapped her.

Asad should be ashamed for what he has done - really ashamed. It was uncalled for.

The dialogue is good - should be said again to remind him

I certainly do not want to see Zoya suddenly become chummy, best friends etc with him - we need him to eat some crow here...we need him to really suffer and it does not have to be vengeful or ugly..just him never getting to see Zoya or spend time with her and realizing that he killed a spirited person.

And please do contact Ms. Gul Khan...she needs to figure out that the slap was not appreciated by ALL the fans of the show and secondly, we want redemption. Otherwise, she will be missing necessary support. THere are a lot of us here who don't find slapping attractive.

Laila,

I don't think any one found slapping attractive. We are all normal people here.
Someone'd have said that this'd pave way for his redemption and you took it differently.
Please...NObody finds slap attractive. We all know it is not a nice thing. And we all have self respect
And we are not even saying he did the right thing or she deserved it.

I think in the flurry of activity a lot of points were missed. 😊

He is a flawed hero...his journey to perfection has just begun. And Zoya will guide him on in that journey.
A man will resist change.

When she tries, he will resist.
The moment she stops trying...he will not be able to resist.😳

That is the beauty of the tale.
Humeira let go when she was in love...her love will come back to her.

If Zoya lets go when she is not in love, she will find that Mr. Khan has slowly transformed himself in to the man of her dreams.🤗

Agree with you, I din't find anyone saying the slap was attractive! The problem with all these arguments is that some said the slap is 'understandable' and not justified it saying that it was 'right' and 'acceptable', whereas some say its not understandable at all and its 'crime'! I really don't get why people are relating it to domestic violence, feminism. The makers have just showed a traits of one person, I never knew that they are supposed to show only perfect people in the show, well if that is the case we shouldn't have any characters like Razia, Mamu, Rashid. Its all about the humans who are not perfect and how they learn to be better with each mistake and with changing relationships. For me the slap was understandable but definitely not acceptable and not right.
