What is worse she will get back to joking and kidding around and giving out annoying poetry - the whole incident will be swept under the rug and the seriousness of this issue ignored.

i think in geet maan was forcing himself on her
so she slapped
don t you think that is self defense
but after that she felt really bad and apologized

You have my support! I think Zoya should leave and Asad should remember/come to know all the ways zoya has helped his family. He show drown in misery thinking about mangalpur and revisit his feelings for her. He should stop her from going and find out about her parents and feel worse about dissing her every time on her brought up. He should then help her find her father and bend over backwards for her (this can add some comic relief too) and in their little journey of finding her father he should get to understand the real zoya- with her innocence, genuine intentions and real fears.

This love hate relationship is tilting too much towards hate without him feeling enough love- that has to change!
