Very Disappointed because I had high hopes from Asad's character that CV's have created and to show violence to women in the name of love, haq, rights, deep passionate, love, etc...is wrong! What kind of message are they trying to send the audience?

That its okay to hit a woman when a man is upset? Should Zoya have slapped Asad too when he almost ruined her life by sending her to meet Akram and she was beaten up and drugged and almost married off?

Disgusting and Disappointing. No justification about TRP's is going to make this right!

I am NOT watching todays episode like a lot of other people I know! I will NEVER support violence on woman in the name of love, haq, rights whatever...

It's not a strong instant reaction hence the delay in posting, but for now Zoya and Asad's charm is gone! If Zoya has any sense in her she will not go with a guy like Asad who under pressure is going to abuse her. Again no matter what the reasons you don't go around hitting people!😡

Hopefully the writer's will take the issue of domestic violence seriously and show that Zoya will not budge or give in easily to Asad when he finds out the truth.

I feel that he should have to earn her trust and respect before anymore mitwa moments happen! I can wait for mitwa's!

but this QUBOOL NAHI HAI!

Four lions always show aggressive love where the men rough up the women..and to me there is nothing like that.
I still can't make out whether he slapped her of cuffed her. She was bleeding..what will he do after apologize?

Agreed, there is no justification for this. And now they have hit a very big social issue that we face. I hope they deal with the issue maturely, realistically, and send the right message.

People that want to argue gender equality need to realize that women need to be equals in all other things before they can say she should be treated as an equal when it comes to abuse. As king as women face discrimination, this argument makes no sense.

Before supporting his actions, one needs to to think if it was them, their sister, daughter, or friend in Zoyas position. Would they justify it then?

😆

I'm glad there are more people who agree. Personally, I wish they never had shown such a thing because now they have a lot of pressure to justify both of their characters.

Im kind of shocked by how much people are trying to justify it, there is no amount of emotions tht make hitting a woman right. Women of all people should understand this.

i never thought I would start hating QH .. but the point finally has come..

everytime when they involved the main lead with showing disgusting behavior i cringed ..

no matter what happened today's slap was the disgusting act by Asad .. I cant sympathize with him now ..

I wish zoya just could get out of this place as soon as possible ..

For so long I thought I was alone on this forum...the ever popular post makers here were not on the same page as me and I even had some people report me for not agreeing with them. It really upset me that the people resorted to this degree that they would shut me down in this way for speaking out.

I did watch this show and both my sister and I did not like it. I told my cousin to watch this show; I just PMed her and told her to forget about it - she would be disgusted by this episode.

I have completely lost interesting in this show...it has left a sour taste in mouth. I simply cannot fathom any romance happening between Asad and Zoya at this stage. Asad's character has been ruined.

From an Islamic perspective (and this is a Muslim family), the practice is not condoned either. I have spent the past 20 years in this field and know every US expert - Muslim, Hindu etc on domestic abuse/violence etc. I know the people who wrote the books and have even consulted for them...none of them would endorse this...and still having been in this field for so long, I had young girls here taunt and try to educate me on what is domestic abuse. Not only were my eyes abused by what I saw today but I had of course, those people who supported abuse, abusing me on this forum...go figure why they saw nothing wrong in what Asad did.
